Hello, I have a pending VAWA and AOS application. My I-131 advance parole has been approved. I only have the paper form since my I-765(EAD) is still pending. Has anyone travelled with ONLY an approved AP document? Also, my entry to the US was illegal and currently I only have DACA. Can I still travel with approved AP even if my entry to the US was illegal? please share your thoughts and experiences. thank you #advanceparole #vawa

Hello everyone, I applied for adjustment of status though VAWA. I submitted I-485, I-360, I-765, and I-131. My I-485 shows that my fingerprints have been applied, my I-360 that it’s been received, my I-765 the fees were waived, and my I-131(advance parole) has been approved. I’ve read a lot of positive experiences of people who traveled with Advance parole but most of them have the combo EAD with advanced parole. Would I be ok to travel with ONLY the advance parole approval document? would I be denied reentry if at the port of entry I only show my passport and AP document? Also, would I trigger any unlawful presence ban if I travel with AP? my only status currently is that I have a work permit through DACA that expires next year. I really want to travel to my home county,Mexico, to visit my father but I’m very nervous about traveling under these circumstances. I asked my lawyer but she advises against international travel until my green card has been approve. Can anyone please share their thoughts and experiences. thank you #advanceparole #vawa

ive been waiting a long time but i still have not gotten any news about my petition. i dont even know who to contact anymore. My lawyers just tell me to keep waiting but its so frustrating. Is there anyone who got approved of VAWA without a Prima Facie? Submitted Feb 2021. Sent RFE May for Good moral character of FBI Background Check. Sent back in June 22, so June 14 received EAD and AP under C09 for two years, but do I have to worry about approval since I didn’t receive PF. also I have a letter from Abuser’s mom too…. 🤔 #VAWA

It’s a good thing I sent that inquiry after my mom got her approval and I didn’t they looked at it May 6 then yesterday I got the notification that my new card is being produced…the amount of stress and tears I cried for this card thank God it’s finally over #vawa #dependent

Hello All, I am married for almost 4 years and recently had a Baby Boy who is 10 months Old. I had to submit paternity test for me and my son. And learned that Baby doesn't belong to me. Me and my spouse started to have a lot of arguments and fights. Hi there i need a suggestion for my immigration status I entered in country legally. and I have a daca I got married to US citizen in August 2019. our marriage was going great but from last year November nothing going well like I'm. His slave and he's my master I have.to obey him in everything I have no personal freedom anymore I was punched on my eye and being abused emotionally My spouse willing to help me to get a green card but I don't trust him anymore as he threatened me with deportation. VAWA ADDRESS CHANGE

Its me again with my address change question haha under VAWA. I just got an email & notification on here that my name has been updated on my I-131. I didn’t ask for a name update. I asked for an address change. Plus, I already have my 2 year combo card. Do you guys think this was just for the address change and not a name change? I will wait to see if I receive any correspondence in the mail too. Thanks #vawa #addresschange
