I just got back from my trip home after being away for years .you’ll go to secondary All they do is take your passport and advance parole and let you wait in a room when they’re done they give you your documents back and send you on your way . Don’t be afraid of using your AP. #vawa

so I spoke to the uscis on phone just to know while I have not receive my vawa case receipt notice after 90days and they told me they can not find my application there system that I should write a letter to the Vermont office. pls guys I need am advice on how to go about it because am getting frustrated already it’s more than 90 days and still have not gotten my receipt notice and my lawyer keep telling me to wait that they we send it with out him calling them to know what is going on and also i tracked my money order receipt that I sent to the uscis and still have not be cashed pls any advice on what to do #vawa #lawyer #immigration

anyone approved from July 2020? vawa
I’m waiting for my I-360 approval since July 2020, I’d like to know if more people here are dealing with the same thing, I just took a look on USCIS process timeline n it’s change again to 33 months, I’m so frustrated, devastated n stressed my anxiety is high level bc always is a new change for timeline dates, I was married USC n applied for me and my minor daughter a combo in july 2020 with a lawyer ( i-130,765,131,485,360) EAD was approved in December 2020 and 131 (never flown overseas because was not recommended), I’m hopeless it’s so frustrating specially for my daughter she turned 18yo, graduated from high school 4.4gpi n unfortunately she is not allowed to study at some universities bc she’s not a GC holder, it’s not fair. I’m harder working, trying my best to raising my daughters by myself, I wish my daughter could apply to study and get scholarships that she deserves. What does your I485 case status say if you transfered your I485 with your ex under marriage to your Vawa?
I have questions for those who tansfered your I485 to under your Vawa case. meaning, you filed I485 and 130 with your ex and you transfered them to your Vawa.
What does your case status say after they are transferred? does it say “in abeyance.”? I googled “I485 abeyance.” there are many search found talk about Vawa. if my ex can see the status and google what it means, he will know it and I am afraid.
how can it be confidential if your ex can track your pending cases?. it doesn’t make any sense.

How long did it take you to get EAD or Combo Card under c9 or c31 Vawa?
a lawyer told me that EAD c31 approval takes about 9 months these days. I saw someone here said got it in 8 months (applied in 2022) but I see approvals for c31 took longer than that. please let me know when you applied and when you got approval. thank you for all sharing your experiences. #vawa
Applying for Vawa while I485 and 130 are pending
Hi, I have questions for those who applied for Vawa while I485 and I130 from the GC marriage petition were pending.
How did you transfer them to your Vawa case? Will filing copies of notice I485 and I130 in my vawa petition automatically be transferred? Should I request abeyance for I485 and I130 when I file my Vawa?
After the transfer, what does the status of I485 and 130 say? Will any notice letter be sent to a lawyer who filed for GC marriage? My ex has the receipt numbers so that he can track them. I am afraid that he will find out about Vawa. Sharing any experience will be appreciated. Thank you. #vawa
