How long did it take you to get EAD or Combo Card under c9 or c31 Vawa?
a lawyer told me that EAD c31 approval takes about 9 months these days. I saw someone here said got it in 8 months (applied in 2022) but I see approvals for c31 took longer than that. please let me know when you applied and when you got approval. thank you for all sharing your experiences. #vawa
Applying for Vawa while I485 and 130 are pending
Hi, I have questions for those who applied for Vawa while I485 and I130 from the GC marriage petition were pending.
How did you transfer them to your Vawa case? Will filing copies of notice I485 and I130 in my vawa petition automatically be transferred? Should I request abeyance for I485 and I130 when I file my Vawa?
After the transfer, what does the status of I485 and 130 say? Will any notice letter be sent to a lawyer who filed for GC marriage? My ex has the receipt numbers so that he can track them. I am afraid that he will find out about Vawa. Sharing any experience will be appreciated. Thank you. #vawa

vawa i485 - vawa approved, i-485 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
hello everyone. hope everyone is well and getting big good news everyday.
I initially filed i-130, i-485, i-130 and i-765 together. My ex husband is USC. Then kept my i-485 in abeyance and applied for VAWA. Filed for i-360 in march 15, 2021 along with i-485 and i-765. In September 2021 sent a request to update my address.
My i-360 was approved in November of 2022. No RFs nothing, was just approved. I did not expedite my VAWA. Two days after approval the status on my new i-485 changed to Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken. The status still the same up until this day. I live in Miami and request to change the address was when i moved here. Does anyone know how long it takes to get RFE for medicals?
On my i-360 approval notice, they put a Priority date, which is the date I filed for i-485 with my old i-130. Old i-485 was held in abeyance. But I also filed new one with VAWA. What does that priority date mean for my case? My ex husband was a US citizen, im not depending on the visa cap.

I-360 VAWA finally approved after 9 years journey, need advice
My journey started in 2014. Fast forward to early 2020 when I decided to apply for VAWA because things didn't work out as it should.
I had my EAD every year renewed while I was waiting. However, due to COVID the extension renewal didn't come in time last year so I got laid off and unemployeed since Aug 2022. Reached out to congresswomen and filing for expedite didn't help either.

Today my I-360 after 3 years, finally got approved! With that, the approval letter says that my EAD will be sent to me seperately.
I am not celebrating yet because I don't have the green card in my hands yet.
The whole point of this post is to ask others who are in similar position: What's next? How long is the waiting time for the actual interview? And how difficult is the interview process?

I'M REALLY TIRED OF THIS LONG WAIT. JESUS COME AND INTERVENE IN MY SITUATION( I NEED AN APPROVAL)
So it's been a who almost 600+ days, and I think I'm really tired of this long wait. USCIS, please do something because some of us are bread winners for our families and we also want to be able to travel freely with no fear. Why would you really make us wait all this long yet we have already suffered abuse and torture. This wait has surely caused some of us more depression 🫥. Please do something 😔 #USCIS #VAWA
Prima Facie is going to expire!
my 3th Prima facie is going expire on March 11/23 and didn’t get any , is going to make any issues in my VAWA case , I didn’t use it for any benefit in my State . usually USCIS sends me a new one before previous one gets expire. that is a good sign ? could be uscis is getting decision on my case !!!!! hopefully yes by sending my approval 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Just want to share and give some hope to all! I started my process on Sep. 4th, 2020. I had 4 PF letter (last one would expired June 2023). I didn’t receive any RFE. And on Feb 21, 2023 got approved.
