VAWA CASE APPROVED
Hello guys ,
finally i got my work permit and travel permit.
i have small questions that i got approved my travel permit so is there any particular any documents they will send me for travel or they just send me EAD only. I heard that they only send EAD and you can travel anywhere on EAD ? is it true? and also can i travel once i will got my work permit or shold i have to wait for few months?

A Chapter Has Closed……………
After 1, 748 days (4 yrs, 9 months & 14 days) this chapter of my life has come to an end.
Do not give up hope or lose faith. I don’t care how bleak things look or how many tears are shed. God & only God has the final say. He is the true miracle worker.
A few attorneys along with Legal Aid told me that I didn’t have a case & told me they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have pictures of black eyes as supporting proof, I didn’t have a police report, my proof was internal. I suffered psychological & financial abuse. It does not matter. You have your own experience, that’s proof enough! #Vawa #Abeyance

i485 timeline
i360 and i485 filed together in Dec 2019. i360 approved in May 2022. My attorney put expedite request for i485 in August 2022. Expedite request approved on Oct 19 , 2022 and same day case was updated to show fingerprints were taken / fingerprints applied. How long after Vawa I-360 RFE reply did you get a decision?
Hi fam! I’ve just send a reply for my second RFE and USICS has already received it on Oct 24 2022. Idk why it may not be reflected in my timeline.
Filed July 2020. First RFE was for good moral character in 2020. Lost count for prima facie’s🙄 Second RFE is for additional evidence for abuse. Waited for the combo almost 17 month😭

EAD expedite request, no response almost 1 year
I'm on a VAWA case.
Had my EAD every year renewed. Expired this Feb 2022 and filed for renewal before. USCIS received it too late so the 540 days auto extension doesn't apply.
Company put me on leave of absence since July.
My attorney sent an expedite request including my financial situation + a written letter from my company (a very well known one). No response
It's been almost a year. What's going on with USCIS?

vawa receipt taken over 2 months
i applied 08/8/22, uscis received it 08/10 and signed.
till now past 2 months and no receipt!
i call uscis and they cant find anything in the system with my name! the file cant be lost because i tracked it and its been signed by someone who accpeted the delivery at vermont center.
what do i do?? my lawyer says she wants to refile?! what should i do. im wanting to even leave rhis lawyer shes done nothing and gives me false info. i know more about vawa than she seems to

Service request
My lawyer called USCIS today to find out why we still didn’t get Vawa receipts and they opened service request with him that we didn’t get receipts and they said if we won’t get it ny next week, we have apply again 🙁.
Has anybody experience service request with Vawa? Did service request help to speed up the process?

Hello everyone! I need some help, please. So my VAWA case is currently on-going. I just started filing for it few months ago. I took a while to file because of finances. Recently, my estranged husband and I started talking again. Its been almost a year since we last spoke and almost 3 years since we have been separated. He hurt me badly but I still love him. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. He seems to have found God and doing much better. My question is: if we do reconcile, will that affect my VAWA and greencard filing status?

Traveling by AP
Hi. I have VAWA pending since 02/22 and ask to put I-485 on hold (abeyance) but there is no update since then. I have combo card from marriage AOS. Do you think it’s safe to travel outside the country? My lawyer said that’s fine but I’m still too nervous. Does anybody have any experience? I entered the US by student visa and kept the status until I filed marriage AOS. Should I worry about permanent bar or anything?

No receipts
My lawyer sent Vawa documents end of June and I still didn’t receive any receipts. It’s more than 2 months already. Is it normal? I see everybody getting receipts even for Vawa cases max 2 months after dending documents. I’m little bit concerned at this point because I want my EAD and AP already. Thanks
