Daily Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, thank You Lord for another day and another opportunity to give You praise. we acknowledge that every day above the ground is a miracle and we do not take that for granted. we pray that You would forgive us all our sins and write our names in the book of life. we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Still waiting for interview in Guatemala
We started the process back in 2019. We received an interview date for my husband back in 2021 but we contacted our lawyer since his 601-a was still pending. We then got an approval for his 601-a last year. But now case hasn't updated and it stated that they couldn't deliver a notice by mail in March 2025 and that it can affect the case. I also called the lawyer to let him know but they just say it was probably them wanting to verify address. Here we still are waiting in November and there has been no updates. His priority date with NVC was 07/29/2019
F2A approved for a spouse ,After filing the Writ of Mandamus on my own,
After filing the Writ of Mandamus on my own, it didn’t take long before USCIS moved on my case. I’m honestly still shocked at how fast things changed once the court got involved. All I paid was the $405 filing fee and a bit for mailing, and now after more than two years of waiting, it’s finally done.
If anyone else is stuck in long delays, don’t lose hope. There is a way forward. I’ll keep sharing updates as my case continues, in case it helps someone going through the same struggle.

I-751 with divorce waiver
How many people have been approved with divorce waiver? I used an attorney to file my I-751 in May of 2023. Recently responded to RFE and hoping for the best. #divorce #I-751

I recently sent my congressional inquiry to Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick’s office for help
I just wanted to share something that honestly has me shaken. I recently sent my congressional inquiry to Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick’s office for help with my immigration case
and then right after that, this news came out about her being indicted for stealing FEMA funds.
Now I’m sitting here wondering… how am I supposed to feel? I reached out for help because my case has been delayed for so long, and then the person I turned to is suddenly all over the news facing charges.
I’m not judging anybody but this timing is wild, and it definitely made me nervous. I’m just hoping my inquiry still gets handled properly and nothing gets lost in the middle of all this chaos.
Has anyone else dealt with something like this before? Did your request still go through normally? I’m trying to stay calm, but whew… this is a lot.
