How long after submitting medicals will 485 be approved?
My attorney received a call from USCIS officer stating my interview is waived and I will be getting RFE for medicals. 485 status changed to RFE and I’m waiting for the physical copy. how long after submitting medicals will I get approval? #VAWA
This is longest I have waited for anything, no response since 2018 but recieved a notice for more evidence in November 2022. I hope this is my last wait. I will share my testimony here soon.

I received prima facie determination in c31 category in vawa. whats the next step?
I received prima facie determination in c31 category in vawa in December. I had filled a i-765 back in February 2022 after filling for vawa in August 2021. what's the next step? attorney wants to file ead, AP and green card.
how long would that take to process and issue?
but the i-765 was filled earlier this year ( February 2022) . im very confused, so if someone can help explain . id greatly appreciate it

Missing receipts
My laywer sent my Vawa package back in July. I received Prima Facie 3 weeks ago, never got receipt for I360 and I still don’t have receipts for 485,765 and 131 as well. My lawyer is saying we still didn’t get them. Is this normal? Isn’t receipt supposed to be before PF??? Thanks

VAWA while I-485 was pending
Hi guys! I just wanna know your experience please. I have I-130 and I-485 with my ex since last year. Both case are never withdrawn and I asked to hold my I-485. This year, I filed for VAWA. So do you think they use PD of I-130 for my VAWA? I have heard that we can ask to transfer but I’m not sure my lawyer did or not or USCIS will automatically do that. Thanks for sharing!

Vawa, F1 reinstatement and EB3
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if I could file for an F1 reinstatement,Vawa and Eb3 concurrently? so I came here on a student visa and I was able to work on an OPT after I graduated nursing school. "luckily" my workplace was in about filling an Eb3 on my behalf but they do not have the pwd permit ; meaning they had to get the permit from the department of labor before they can put in my Immigration paperwork. after 6 months of putting in the PWD, it turned out they issued the wrong permit and they had to reapply for a redetermination. Mind you my Opt expired in July and I was hoping a redetermination will be issued within 2months (somewhere around September) since the error came from the DOL office, that way I won't fall out of status completely before filling my Immigration papers. Still haven't heard anything from the DOl office and I don't want a situation whereby the 180days grace period will elapse and I'll have to go back to my home country. so I spoke with my school DSO who advised filling for F1 reinstatement (that takes close to 1year to get approved but I can attend class while waiting on an approval) on the other, end I was married (separated now) but I choose not to go through with the marriage based green card because of abuse and all, moreover the Eb3 option was feasible too. Now that the EB3 is not going as planned yet and I know I qualify for Vawa. Can I put in an application for both Vawa, and F1 reinstatement while attending classes without it having any effect on my EB3 process? Any info will help..thanks #f1reinstatement #vawa #Eb3 #f-1
$2000 vs $700 psychological evaluation (VAWA)
I reached out to two therapists who will do their psychological evaluation due to my attorney requesting such upon receiving an RFE from USCIS.
is it worth the $2000? or is $700 therapist just as good?

Hey guys, can you guys share what is your timeline?
My lawyer only submitted the I360. No work permit and no adjustment of status. I requested a work permit based on vawa and I have been waiting for 6 months now. VAWA submitted on March 2021.
Work permit submitted on March 2022.
Anyone got their work permit based on vawa without vawa being approved?
Please share with me. I am so anxious & tired of waiting. I am very depressed. I need my work permit and I dont know what to do! (I am in massachussets, only got a prima facie. But I cant even get drivers license etc)
