VAWA Change of Address
Hello, I know its advisable not to change addresses too much while your case is pending but I need to. So I first moved in June 2021 to my current apartment in a different city but the same state, I sent my AR-11 in the mail immediately and up to today, I have not received a confirmation of change of address. But because I have mail forwarding, I have been getting everything sent to the previous address. Now, I am trying to move again in the next month to a different apartment. I will continue having my mail forwarded from that initial apartment but do I send another AR-11 address? should I put the initial address on there or the second one that they never changed it to? Also, if I already have an approved I-765 & I-131 then I don’t have to change any addresses on them right? I will just need to put in my new address when I send in a renewal? I will probably need to ask my lawyer about this instead but wanted to see if anyone had an idea on how they did this. #vawa #changeofaddress #vawachangeofaddress

Vawa I-360: Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction
I have filed VAWA I-360 on 01/27/2021 and I-485 was pending with NBC from 04/01/2020. On November 5, 2021, we transferred your Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant. Now case status : Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction. Case transferred from Vermont Service Center to Texas Service Center. I-485 is also transferred from NBC to Texas Service Center. Now both the forms are in Texas Service center. 1. Is this normal process or it will be delayed more time. I did expedite EAD card in Oct and they processed my EAD card within 3 days and then transferred my both case into Texas. I knew Vermont will process VAWA only and then NBC will process I-485 . 2. Why both forms now in Texas ? Any advice will be great helpful . Thanks..................................... #vawa

VAWA biometrics updates
Hello! I filed for the whole VAWA package in February 2021, I did my biometrics on August 2nd, but, when checking the status of my cases, they all still show the same - Case was received in February. It’s been 3,5 months since biometrics. Is it supposed to not update my case status online to Fingerprints received? Or is that an error and I should find out why it has been stuck at the same message? My attorney did mention in the beginning that I would not be able to see the case status updates because of the confidentiality of VAWA. The physical address is set to his office & he always informs me if he receives anything. But is that really how it is & I cannot see the real status online? I’m just in desperate need of EAD and want to address this if that’s an error. #vawa #ead #biometrics #fingerprints #case #status
