I filed for AOS by myself back in aug2022. finally had my interview Monday. I was notified that I had a removal processing conducted in absentia back when I entered the states at the age of 8. forward to dec 2021 I did advance parole and nov 2022 AP for work reasons. I got my 485 denied today. however I’m the paper is says I self deported. what is the best way to move forward? should I do a 212 waiver? anyone has gone through this.?

My mother is 87 years old, she applied for residency on March 16 under the Cuban Adjustment Act, and today, May 17, only 2 months away, I received the notification that her green card had already been sent by mail. All very fast. Thank you USCIS

Any VAWA based I-485 Approvals?
My VAWA got Approved in the begining of April, 2023.
How long is it going to take to get a request for Medicals? I think around 3-4 month.
What happens after?

NVC Status is confusing
My case was sent to NVC by USCIS several months ago. But a week ago when I logged into NVC, it showed me that my case information is not avai. Then I wrote to NVC. After two attempts to find out what happened, they said the following. what does this mean? Please let me know if you know.
“The National Visa Center (NVC) is unable to assist you with your inquiry. Please redirect your inquiry to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).”
i485 Approved After interview (vawa)
I initially file i485, i130 September 2018, got first interview on Aug 2019, file 1360 on June 2019 and hold my 1485 interview in abeyance, got i360 approve Aug
2021 and two weeks later my attorney write a letter to reopen my i485, and no any update on my i485 until March 2023 that I got an update that my i485 is now scheduled for interviews
before USCIS could schedule me for an interview my attorney wrote them twice and no update, then my congressman wrote them once and I was able to get an update last year June 2022 that they would schedule me when they have available date, and finally I write the white house two months ago using the request form below and to my surprise I was scheduled for interviews a month after🥺
Does requesting for expedition reset you to the back of the Iine or take you out of “active review” status if your request doesn’t get approved?

I am a medical student and I would like to apply for residency this upcoming September. Having an EAD would allow me to apply for programs that are close to home and would allow me to live at home, without an EAD I may have to move across the country which would be devastating for my wife and I. I’m worried that if my request to expedite is not approved, I may lose my current place in line or lose my active review status.
I’m a Canadian born citizen, if that helps.

Hello everyone.
I need your opinion/advice here. today was my adjustment of status interview and my wife and I went there only for the front desk officer to tell us that there is no record of interview. long story short after waiting for a while, the supervisor came out with a G-56 form.. the form has specific instructions such as the location of the interview, the date, hour, the name of the officer to Ask for and most importantly the reason. for the reason there is no mention of interview but the notice says: TO COMPLETE THE PROCESSING OF YOUR APPLICATION. My application has been pending for about 2.5 years and RFE already sent.
Any idea what that could be?.

I have a bachelors degree in education and learning problems. I count with more than 10 years of experience in schools and private practice specialized in autism.
Knowing that USA has a very high rate of children with autism. My business plan consists in training teachers, from private and public schools, to update them on special needs for kids with autism, offering information tools and strategies.
It would be great to know What’s your opinion about my plan?

I got a letter regarding my I485 that they don’t have or they are missing some paperwork from my medical form. I submitted my medical with my application a year ago. I called the doctor today to get a new sealed envelope as my lawyer told me to do. However, it looks like the doctor only give one sealed envelope which mean I might have to redo my medical. Did this happen to somebody?
