My I485 interview complete on Sept 7th at Milwaukee WI field office and pending with additional background checks
Hi My EB2 I485 interview complete on Sept 7th at Milwaukee WI field office. did the Inquiry with congressman and SRs and USCIS reply is pending with additional background check / case is still under review.It’s about 100 days since my interview and no clue for delay. My PD is July 2010 and Received date Oct 19,2020. I did the congressman inquiry two months ago and uscis response to congressman was my case is pending with additional background checks. I did raised the SR and response was my case still under the review. My case is 2 months outside normal processing time as per the EB category processing times at Milwaukee WI field office. please advise. thanks

I received a RFE from New Orleans Field Office on the 7th of December by postal mail service to submit “evidence of a shared life together” documents and which has been submitted on the 9th of December through FedEx overnight service. However, I didn’t get any updates online: either RFE sent or RFE received after my biometric was completed. I’m confused about the process. Please suggest if any similar experience which you had in present or past.
My case was submitted to NBC.

Conditional Green Card
Hi, i just got my interview scheduled for I-485 based on marriage to a US citizen. I am 4 months short of completing 2 years of marriage. If I get a conditional green card, will the expiry date on it will be 2 years from now or will it be the second anniversary of my marriage? Trying to understand if I will have to wait another 2 years to remove conditions from the green card, which is fine but just more hassle and longer wait period.

But I want to continue to work for company A. Company A tried to transfer H1 and got request for additional evidence. what are the chances for Approval. company A is not sharing reason for RFE.

Apply for F1 while I485 pending decision
Hello everyone,
I am currently on H1B and waiting for interview to be scheduled for I485. I am thinking of going to school as a full time student next year, not sure if I am still count as an international student.
Has anyone gone through a similar situation? Do I need an F1 for school? Am I eligible to apply for another non immigration visa under I485 pending status?

Hello everyone,
I submitted i131 form for re-entry permit, and it delivered to USCIS office on Monday 12/20/2021.
I have to leave country tomorrow 12/24/2021.
1. What are the chances if they will reject my application because of my absence?
2. I am planning to come back for biometrics, but as a GC holder they should have my biometrics.
How can I ask them to reuse it? Or what are the chances they will reuse it?
