i-485 pending security check
My case was sent to Sacramento FO in November 2022 and my response to RFE medical was sent there at the same time! no update since then! i submitted a service request, they replied that my case is pending security check! my finger print was done in August 2021! how long more should I wait? anyone else in the same boat?
Pending asylee looking for employment based sponsorship in healthcare
hi guys…. I’m currently a pending Asylee since 2017. I have American kids. working actively in healthcare and when I tracked my case it says next step is an interview. The problem is it has been saying that for a while now. I’m actually in health care and a Licensed nurse now and was wondering if I could get an employment based sponsorship to take my application to the next level. I’m actually looking for health care employers ready to take it up,and support my immigration process. I’m looking for placements anywhere in the States. Most agencies I researched on only provide sponsorship for RN ( registered nurses). I was wondering if anyone has tried this and what are the odds of an aprooval., or if there are recommendations for hospitals, facilities or agencies, plus a good lawyer who has experience in such a case. How to skip Emma and get a rep
If anyone needs to know how to evade Emma, ask super general questions like "How long will this take?" Don't mention specific key words that trigger that stupid auto response like "I-130" or "processing time". Takes about 3 tries and she routes you to a rep.
We made it to the end of our case specific quoted processing time and they jacked it up by 6 months. Then we make it to the end of that and they increase case type (everybody's) I-130 processing time. Not to express so much negativity but I'm feeling like when we get to the end of that one, they will pull the rug out from under us again. The current quoted processing time would put us around November or December for decision time, yet when I FINALLY got thru to messaging a rep they estimated around May 24th 2024 "but things can always change". She was as helpful as she could be. I was just glad to finally have contact with a real human being. I think her name was Katelyn.

Hi guys, do you know if someone can be a sponsor of more than one person? My husband is my petitioner but my sponsor is my cousin, now my cousin wants to be the petitioner of someone else but we dont know if that could harm my case.
She’s married with no children and between her and her husband make more than 130k per year.

then waiting for very long time
I make an expedite request on 6/12/2023 and received uscis email to fax the evidence on next day.
6/22/2023 I received the rejection letter from uscis via email.
6/26/2023 I email to local congressman’s office for help and they did replied my email! and say they are going to submit my case to USCIS. but congressman office said allow for 30 days to get replied the response from uscis
7/7/2023 since I haven’t hear any back from congressman’s office, so I make an expedite with Emma again, received the fax email on the same day.
7/11/2023 received the uscis rejection letter
then I just give up and gonna wait. however, 7/20/2023 my EAD was approve, the letter showing in my USCIS account document (case tracker and lawfully didn’t say it’s approve)
7/21/2023 congressman’s office called and say my EAD was approve!
7/27/2023 my EAD card was produced!

Hi guys, yesterday I recieve a "courtesy email" indicating that my case was transferred to Orlando field office and at dame time indicating while the case is pending I can submit a y documentation (not submitted before) that can help the immigration services officers determine if waive an interview.
Question are:
1) Do you have recieve a letter like this?
2) How many time after recieve this email you were approved or scheduled for an interview?
I've 4 years married and a 3 ½ years daughter so I'm not afraid for an interview but I'm anxious about the remaining time for approved.

N400 combo interview finally done
Finally done with N400 combo interview. Went with spouse. Was pretty short and pleasant . Asked some civics questions and writing and reading . Given white document and status changed to I-751 to approved and N400 to Oath ceremony document was mailed . The long journey finally coming to an end .

I’ve come to know about August 1st retrogression. I am looking for your inputs to know what my timeline from here is to get the green card. I understand that the dates need to be at least Jan 2019 (my PD). Assuming it moves to 2019 in October 2023, what is my timeline?

Please be aware of USCIS mistakes
USCIS totally forgot about the cross chargeability rule in our case(spouses from different nationalities can use either nationality to apply). they kept our case pending for a long time even though priority date was current for one of the spouses.
the mistake was discovered when we reached out via senator - and they replied - priority date is not current. we reached out again via congressman clarifying the cross chargeability rule, then application moved very fast within 4 months everything is done.
If you're using cross chargeability rule due to being from a country with long waiting, please check with USCIS via senator to make sure they didn't forget about it.
