Dear group members,
I’d like to share an update on my affirmative asylum process and kindly seek your advice and insights:
🗓️ **Application Submitted:** End of March 2025
📍 **Biometrics:** April 2025
📞 **Interview Scheduled:** First Week of June 2025
I have a few important questions and would really appreciate input from anyone who has recently gone through the process:
1. **Do they detain applicants after the interview?** What are the chances and conditions for that?
2. **What is the current approval rate** for affirmative asylum interviews?
3. **How long does it take to get a decision** after the interview?
4. **What are your top tips** for someone going into the interview?
5. **What types of questions** does the asylum officer usually ask during the interview?
📂 **Note:** My case is 100% genuine. I’ve submitted all supporting documents and evidence myself,and applied without a lawyer.

Hello all, I had submitted my applications for I-131 and I-765 in the month of December, 2024. I still haven’t received my biometric appointment. Anybody been through the same situation? Do I need to worry? Any help is appreciated.

Green card In the mail
please any idea on how long it takes to get your green card in the mail after receiving “your card has been produced “ . I have not received any other mail since May 2nd and plan to travel soon. I dunno if anyone knows the process of getting the stamp on passport if you haven’t gotten a physical card yet in the mail. Thanks

I got a response to my SR from USCIS today, anybody got such response, please share your experience.
"Your case is under active review by an immigration officer. You should be receiving a decision or notice of further action at the address of record shortly. If you have not received a decision or notice of further action within 90-days of this response, please feel free to submit a new inquiry by calling the USCIS Contact Center."
UPDATE - GREEN CARD APPROVED TODAY, 1 day after above message
