biometrics scheduling
My husband and I both received our receipt notices for both EAD and Green Card. last Friday, I received my biometric scheduling but up till now my husband has still not received his biometric notices. I am the principal applicant and my husband is my derivative. any reason to be worried? for context, he had his previous EAD during his opt which expired in December 2025. When he checks under his form I- 765, the EAD shows. we are worried USCIS is mistaken this as he already has his fingerprints in the system when as of the time of his EAD application (2024), biometrics was not a requirement. Any thoughts on this?

May be he don’t need to do that but he will receive biometrics resume notification

me and my wife received receipt notices last Friday on 20th Mar. but now after that did not receive any update or notice for biometrics. our case was received on 11th Mar. is this timeline ok or I need to wait more for biometrics?

This is actually very common, nothing to stress about. USCIS often schedules biometrics separately even for spouses filed together, so one person getting it first and the other a bit later happens all the time.
