Visa Bulletin Question
My EB-4 (SIJS) final action date just became current (May 2022). Does this mean a visa is expected to be available for my case this fiscal year?
My I-485 has been pending for almost 2 years, and I already responded to an RFE (medical) before my case was paused due to visa unavailability.
I did search and apparently it can take 30-90 days for my case to be resolved
Does anybody know? Please 🙏

@diego roman you know the pain, we want to be happy about the good news but at the same time we’ve been so frustrated that I am personally scared to be happy about it lol
I started this process about five years ago, just hoping we’re now in the finish line

same boat here! any idea which field office you submitted your rfe? that could help
g fMar 24, 2026
@Lucien J I believe my case is at the National Benefits Center (NBC). I sent my RFE response (medical) to an address in California, but my original I-485 notice came from NBC

Hello, how are you all? I would like to ask you guys if you go to the Social Security office and clear all the processes and change the delivery shipment address to Social Security, will there be any problems?
Lucien JMar 25, 2026
@g f to what I understand from my lawyers is that whatever address is on the rfe is where they are finalizing the i485 it means nbc did all the processing and forwarded to a field office for final adjudication.
good luck!!! you will get the approval soon!!!!

you need to look at the final date, PD is when you can send your application and final date is when they can aprove your application, if I’m not wrong the final date is July 2021, check with your lawyer he can explain.
g fMar 26, 2026
@Boston Miranda its July 15 2022 now

g fMar 27, 2026
@Andreina Elias when did you apply for your green card? depending on the date you can send an inquity to the USCIS
Andreina EliasMar 27, 2026
@g f filled my I-485 on march 2024 they received on may 16,2024 on June 24 my fingerprints were taken and march 12,2025 my case was put pending do to the visa availability and still no change I’m worry
g fMar 28, 2026
@Andreina Elias if you go on processing wait time on USCIS you can put the date you filed for your green card and they go based by that date. My PD is in 3/23/22 but I applied my green card on 2/23/23 so I can only request them something after July 13 2026 (considering visa would still be available and current for me)
always keep checking, it’s taking long but mine is still being processed as it should
let’s keep faith

If your prioroity date is current under ""final action dates"" yes, this means technically your green card can now get approved because there is a visa available.
