our i485 filing date is January 26,2022. we have no updates and the only response we got from USCIS was that our case is taking longer due to workload factors not in relation to our case. that is crazy to me that they are saying something that isn’t related to our case is causing it to be delayed. has anyone else ever received this message and have success stories? anyone else in Detroit still waiting over a year? #detroit #i485

I130 approved march 22nd 2023.
I485 status hasn't changed since October 2021 after they've received my evidence. Atlanta FO.

Not a formal RFE ¿? scam?
Today I received a courtesy notice letter from the Fresno, CA field office (not my local FO) saying that they have received my application for review and adjudication. It also says that the letter is NOT a formal RFE, but if I want, I can submit my medical exam or bonafides of my marriage if they have not been submitted before.
Have anyone received similar letters? Do you think is safe to send my medical? I’m worried it is a scam. I just find it a little awkward, especially because there is no update or similar notice in my online account.

i485 Case was at Kendall FO FL until something different today
#i485 spoke with an agent today, and was told my case was reviewed 9 days ago, I also asked where is my case been treated, she said it doesn’t show where it is treated on her end. Meanwhile this was different when I called about 3weeks ago.

hello everyone. hope everyone is well and getting big good news everyday.
I initially filed i-130, i-485, i-130 and i-765 together. My ex husband is USC. Then kept my i-485 in abeyance and applied for VAWA. Filed for i-360 in march 15, 2021 along with i-485 and i-765. In September 2021 sent a request to update my address.
My i-360 was approved in November of 2022. No RFs nothing, was just approved. I did not expedite my VAWA. Two days after approval the status on my new i-485 changed to Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken. The status still the same up until this day. I live in Miami and request to change the address was when i moved here. Does anyone know how long it takes to get RFE for medicals?
On my i-360 approval notice, they put a Priority date, which is the date I filed for i-485 with my old i-130. Old i-485 was held in abeyance. But I also filed new one with VAWA. What does that priority date mean for my case? My ex husband was a US citizen, im not depending on the visa cap.
