Confusing update botification from Lawfully

My I485 is under “Case Remains Pending” status for couple of months. 2 days ago, receiced lawfully notification in this app that there is update in my (our) case status. But not able to see any changes, what would be the reason ? #I485 #EB1-3

Hello everyone I had my I485 interview yesterday (Cincinnati,OH FO). I was fortunate to get an extremely nice officer. the Interview felt more like a casual conversation, granted I was accompanied only by my attorney due to my USC spouse passing in December of last year. the FO was advised of the situation prior to attending the interview. I was asked very basic and little to no questions about my marriage and majority was spent answering I485 questions. the officer did tell me that my petition will automatically be converted to an I360 widower petition. to my great surprise less than 12 hours of my Interview my I-130 and I485 were approved. alhamduliallah! I’ve been in the states since I was 10. this is 17 years later. I wish all of you the best of luck. #I130 #I360 #I485

No updates after 'Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction'

Hello, I have my case status stuck at 'Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction' dated April 20, 2022. --- My case was transferred to Newark FO and I am EB3. April 20, 2022 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction April 19, 2022 Your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was transferred to another office for processing. March 16, 2022 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, were taken. February 7, 2022 We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. --- And in July 2022, I received RFE non-medical. In January 2023, I got through Emma and put a request in for a status check and the response said, 'We are still reviewing your case. We will mail you a notice when we make a decision.' Is my timeline normal? Am I being impatient? It's been a rough 2022 and 2023 and I need some hope..I got audited for i-140 and received a RFE for i-485.. i485 processing time after non-medical rfe

Hello all. I have been waiting over a year after my non-medical rfe regarding my travel history dating back to 2005. I took the fingerprints April 2022 and received RFE in July 2022. Does it usually take over a year to get a decision: interview or approval? Everyone around me has been approved and I'm the only one who is still waiting to hear something from USCIS. My case was transferred to NJ FO from NBC and then I received RFE from NJ FO. Has anyone had any luck with expediting I130/I485? I’m currently employed and being able to travel is a critical part of my job. I received my AP some time ago, but I don’t want to risk it and travel using AP. My employer asked multiple times when I will be able to travel again, but I obviously can’t tell when that’s going to be. My company offered writing a letter to USCIS to expedite, but I’m not sure how that works. Anyone? #i485 #i130 #expedite

This community has been a great help in the past few month and I wanted to share my timeline to help other people here. If you have any questions please let me know. My #I485 was approved on 04/21/2023, it took 169 days!! PD: 01/31/2022 (#ROW) Category: #EB3-1 (#Professional - Bachelor Degree) I140, I131,I765 submitted to NCS I485 was submitted to NCS but it was transferred to NBC on 12/10/2022. I submitted my medical along my application when I applied. I485 was transferred to #SanJose filed office on 03/29/2023. ( I didn’t get a notification on case status, I knew from Emma online chat). The case took around 3 weeks to get approved after it was transferred to a FO with no interview nor RFE.

Today my Lawfully journey comes to an end, yesterday I finally got my green card approved with no interview. It was a long journey, a lot of times I found myself frustrated, sad and willing to give it all up, but the day finally came up. If you’re feeling hopeless, feeling like everyone is getting their approvals but you, be persistent, I was in your shoes days ago and as my time came, yours is next, don’t give up, trust the process and God will take care of the rest. Maybe Fastest I-485 Approval Without Interview

I just got my I-130 and I-485 approvals on the same day on April 15th without an interview. USCIS recieved my I-485 application without I-693 on Feb 28th. I got Biometrics done on March 31st and submitted I-693 RFE few days after that. In total, my case got approved in 45 days. Here’s my timeline for reference.
