Detroit office/ I485 pending 427 days
our i485 filing date is January 26,2022. we have no updates and the only response we got from USCIS was that our case is taking longer due to workload factors not in relation to our case. that is crazy to me that they are saying something that isn’t related to our case is causing it to be delayed. has anyone else ever received this message and have success stories? anyone else in Detroit still waiting over a year? #detroit #i485

Oh wow, they used to be really fast. My husbands case was approved in 2021 less than 8 months after filing in Detroit (with interview).

they are fast. they are approving cases in 4 months. ours for some reason super slow though🥲
