Can a F2 Dependent Visa Holder study Online microMaster’s or Master’s Courses on Edx
Hi
I am a F1 Visa Holder, and my wife who recently join me in USA wants to study a part time Micormasters program in Project Management offered by RIT under edx.org. Given her F2 status is she allowed to pursue that, would this be a violation of F2 status as it says part time education is allowed( she would be doing this program part-time though it is not mentioned on the program)
Kindly advise if somebody has been through a similar dilemma or if a legal practitioner is aware of the eligibility.
Thanks,
Micky #F2#Education#Micromasters#Eligibility

(only wait for our new EAD) because we already submitted our Application for EAD since October 2021 until now, we got nothing update from USCIS.
AB5 (Assembly Bill 5)
Hello, anyone knowledgeable in this Bill? I have a friend who is an architect and working as a contractor, and a company would like to have him work for them for 20 hours a week. The contractor has a pending visa not yet approved.
Should this scenario compromise any of the parties involved?#AB5 #AssemblyBill5

Are you allowed to do Door Dash if you have an SSN but no work authorization?
I was just looking over the sign up page and they never stated anything about requiring US work authorization which made me wonder if it's required at all.
If you are in one of these states that offer driver's license to out of status immigrants that have an SSN, could you use such licenses to to do Door Dash? just curious.
Have I-766 and am working but can’t get paid!
Help! Started work the day after receiving my EAD. Hadn’t received my SS number so went to the local (2hrs drive away) office on Friday and they said they will send a card in two weeks. The very nice man there said if I ring on Wednesday tho, he should be able to tell me my number. Today I’m told by my employer that they need my visa type and my ss# before I can be paid and the cut-off date to be paid this month is tomorrow at 5pm! I’ve explained that my visa category is pending I-R1 and that previously I was on a visitor’s visa, but they won’t accept this.
Open Suggestions
Hi all, i have a pending 485/765 eb3. Case in TSC, filed in June'21. My current employer was was nice enough for filing my GC and I really owe them a lot for it. But I feel like they are taking advantage of not paying me to my potential. I am good at what I do and certainly confident I can find jobs with much higher pay if I want to. But I don't want to go through the hassle of 485j and also transfer h1b. I am asking for suggestions from this community. What do you guys think I should do? I have been patient for the last 3years (thats how long it took since they started my GC process). But with current rate of inflation I am having a hard time financially keeping up. It hurts even more knowing there are so many opportunities out there.
FYI No movement in any of my case since filing.
