I'm a trained teacher with a Masters Degree with pending I485. I have many years of teaching experience from my home country in the Caribbean. I have been approved for EAD. I'm seeking suggestions for work in a public school system, that hires quickly, with little hassle but pays well. Also I'd prefer an are that is not inner city. I prefer to work in an elementary school. Willing to relocate for work. Suggestions or links welcomed.

You can work in a charter school until you are fully certified. Look up Kipp Charter Schools or Charter Schools in whatever city you want to live in. If you’re in Houston, Houston Independent School District has plenty of openings and they start at $63K now

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it. My passion is for public schools (they deserve good teachers too) but I know charter schools are publically funded. Thank you so much

Thanks to Yoyo M, I took your advice and I was successful in getting a teaching job. It's in the city but I'm still very thankful.
