name change with pending case?

So I could use an opinion. I am married to US citizen but didn’t change my name because I lost my passport and I was told to change my name on a social security card I would need a form of ID especially a passport if you are not a citizen. My marriage certificate has my current name. so here are my questions 1. I just got a passport and would love to change my name to my husband but don’t know where to begin 2. If I get a green should I just wait until 2 years pass and change my name while I am renewing my green card or should I do it now? 3. If I do it now how would that affect my application? 4. once I change my name, would I need to change my name on my passport as well or can I travel with my passport as long as my ticket has the same name in the passport? I could use any directions or information regarding changing my name. thank you

Hi everyone, My case status went straight to "actively reviewing" your case wording after I attended my biometrics appointment back in September. Does your USCIS status specifically show that biometrics has been taken? I keep reading of people who say it's says that on their status. Months later, I am starting to get anxious that they haven't recorded the biometrics. Does anyone have any insight?

Hello Good people please i need your opinion concerning upgrading my i130 frm F2a category to Cr1 since i jst bcame a citizen,,my confusion is that when i compile the necesary documents SHOULD I MAIL IT TO CALIFORNIA WHERE I MAILED MY i130 bfore it was transfered to VERMONT or i should mail it directly to VERMONT as i already know it is the center processing my case?

Hi everyone, I have a question to anyone who is/was in the same boat... I applied for I-485 early this year, got biometric in September, and got medical RFE in November... Sent response 2 weeks ago and status changed to RFER... Does anybody know how long does it really take to get a decision after RFER? Did anyone have similar case recently with Nebraska service center? Thanks!
