Do I need to extend L1B visa?
Hi everyone, I have my I-485 and EAD pending for longer than 6 months and my L1B visa is expiring in 2 months... Do I need to extend my L1B visa if I do not get GC or EAD approved in those 2 months? Thanks community!!!

I was in the same situation but my lawyers advised me to do an in country extension of my visa just in case something goes wrong with my greencard then I would still have time to try to appeal or something. Considering that your status (i94) is expired if they deny the greencard you should leave ASAP

After the visa expiration you usually have an additional year for your status (I-94) to be valid

Yes. Your L1 status will make you eligible to work in the US. if you lose the L1 status, you will need to wait till you get the EAD to be able to work.

even ead extensions are taking more than 1 year to approve. Better maintain l1 visa.
