Hello, I’m seeing people who applied for AOS through marriage in 2021 get approved. I’m feeling really anxious since I haven’t heard anything sine applying in 2020. my application is at the national benefits center and I’m guessing the field office is Washington D.C.

after interview
i got interview dec 28th 21. i got approved on spot. interviewer said you will get green card. but still my case is same as interview was scheduled. my 2year anniversary is February 13th 2022. should i wair more? or should i call my field office?

Renew license?
Hello everyone!
My husband and I filed AOS in may 2021 with PD 5/10/2021. Right now our case is waiting for the interview to be scheduled. We don’t know yet when we will be scheduled for that. We didn’t get EAD yet. We were able to get Driving license renewed with the receipt of notice, but that only extended our license until May 2022. I don’t know if we need to experdite this? Do we need to pay to expedite? Honestly, I don’t have to good reason to expedite, we are minimalist so as of right now one income isn’t too bad. Although, it would be nice to have EAD. What I worried more is that We won’t have a valid driving license after May 2022 if the interview hasn’t been scheduled by then. Any idea or suggestions on how to proceed this? Hello everyone,
Question for a friend
He enter in US as tourist visa and work with itin number for some years but never pay taxes. Couple of years later, he got his GC and start to pay his taxes only with SSN.
He have a naturalization interview this month and my question is:
Can uscis deny his case because he owe some money from itin number??
I told him to call the irs and pay the amount owed. But he keep saying doesn't need as long as he was out of status when he got his itin number..
What you guys think??
