Approved petition received by NVC
Our I-130 was sent to the NVC on Friday (from USCIS Nebraska), and we received the initial welcome email / receipt email from NVC with receipt and invoice info to set up the account this afternoon. I heard this has been taking a week or more to even send over, and then a week for the NVC to open and receive. Things are really starting to pick up I think in terms of speed of processing.

How does visa Bulletin work?
I recently interviewed at San Jose field office. My spouse is on GC so visa officer told me we’ll review your application, and depending on availability of visas according to this months visa bulletin we’ll make our decision. My status changed back to Application in Review. I’m from Pakistan so would my visa depend on General Category visas availability?

Hi everyone!
So I’m currently waiting for my combo card to arrive. And I’ve been really anxious to use the advance parole to visit my family (I live in San Diego, border of Tijuana ). The only things stoping me are the “what if’s”, since there’s always that small possibility that a CBP doesn’t let you return to the US.
So I’m here to ask anyone that lives close to the border of Mexico that has crossed through back to the US, can you please share you experience with me?
And what happens if a CBP denies the entry back to the US?
I’d very much appreciate it 🙏🏼

any family (spouse) based i130/i485 applicants with priority date after september 2020 from
brooklyn got their interview yet?
my PD is sep 29, 2020 and I am still waiting for the interview to be scheduled. “ready to schedule” since Feb 22, 2021.
Brooklyn seems to be awfully slow (compared to manhattan or queens).
i got my EAD in June.
