my case went to case ready to schedule today. Pd May 2020 and August 2020 biometrics. I can guide you guys on how to get things moving if you like.

@donperry, guid us please, where is your field office?

don perryJan 25, 2022
field office is OKC. Guys, you need to put the heat on the USCIS. Contact your senator in your district and pester them repeatedly until you get a response from them to do an inquiry on your behalf. And most importantly, guys do an EXPEDITE REQUEST asap. Reason for Expedite Request : Financial Loss to Person. Then follow up to make sure the expedite request is updated on your case tracker. Once the expedite request is received, your case will be triggered and an officer will have to look at your case history. Once it is discovered that your case has been pending since August 2020 biometrics update, the expedite request will be irrelevant and the officer will most likely move your case along to case ready to schedule I guarantee that. It may not work for everyone but I'm sure it will work for more than a few. Don't wait till your case is out of processing time before you take action. It's been an excruciating 17 months but I'm glad to finally see some progress. Try this out and let me know guys!

did you expedite your i-485?
Mercyful GodJan 25, 2022
@ don perry, inquiry can only be done when your case is outside normal processing time..secondly how do you Expedite due to finical loss when you still have a valid work Authorization. please don perry be more clear to us on this cause I’m losing it pd April 6 2020.

@Mercyful, you can have your senator do a case inquiry on your behalf. you don't have to wait until processing time is over. Secondly even if you have a valid eas, you can expedite your I 485 still. the point is not to get the expedite approved, the aim is to get your case looked out and only an expedite request can trigger that. it will likely be denied but your case history would have been considered by an adjudicator first and when they find out you have been waiting since August 2020, your case will immediately move to case ready to schedule if you are lucky. Can you believe my interview got scheduled this morning? I just moved to case ready to schedule yesterday and today, interview scheduled. give it a try you got nothing to lose.

for real?
Mercyful GodJan 25, 2022
how do I expedite via senator, and what’s your pd?
d
don perryJan 25, 2022
Pd May 2020. search for your senator or congressman in your district and contact them for help with a federal agency. you most likely will fill out a privacy waiver form. then they will do a case inquiry to the USCIS on your behalf. in the comment, just say your case is taking longer to process and you need their help to know what's going on with your case. As regards the expedite request, you should do that on your own. contact USCIS Emma and when you connected to an agent, tell them you wanna expedite your I 485. they'll send you a bunch of requirements and ask you the basis on which you want to Expedite. just tell them financial loss to person. Don't add any comments to the expedite request please. in a couple days you should get an update on your case tracker that the expedite request was received. in the event you are asked for evidence, you may choose to ignore and then the expedite may be denied but your case would have gained some traction to move to the next step. Goodluck!
