Significance of a I-485j receipt notice
Hi All!
I just received a receipt notice for i485j dated 10/14. Does this mean that I’ll receive a greencard approval very soon?
I did my bios in Aug 30 and raised an expedite request 10/14 for I-131. no response yet

AP out of processing time but waiting on EAD
Filed both concurrently along with I-485 & I-140. Nothing approved yet. I heard that once EAD is approved, AP will be approved as well
If I do a case inquiry for AP, would it possibly trigger EAD processing? the latter is yet to be out of processing times in 2 months

Logged in today for the daily check and for the first time in almost a year I saw something different. that it was being actively being reviewed (again original review was Jan 6) so I went into documents to find an approval letter !! here’s my timeline I hope it helpes someone as other timelines have helped me stay hopefull.

Guys, u know this platform encourages you and helps each other with your case. Chilling story. I missed my biometrics appointment because uscis Tripped on my address. Apparently, a lot of people here encouraged me to still go and try even though the date was far gone. So I did. The lady was very nice. She got me a new appointment date, 2 weeks from now. I’ve learnt one thing. TRY!!! it’s either a yes or No but how would you even get a yes if you don’t try. Thanks everyone who encouraged me to try.

Vawa Receipts Delay
Hi
Is there any delay getting receipts. My attorney was saying, that he sent documents on Aug 30th vawa package, till now we didn't get any receipts from uscis. I called uscis they checked my profile through Alein number but not able to see the receipts numbers, will the alien number for marriage based i485 and for vawa i485 will be the same or differ? any one facing delays
