so last post I posted my timeline that my I-130 was approved but got pending for I-485. It was such a chaotic!!
so I got RFE for medical exam. I need to get some vaccines that I couldn’t get when I was pregnant. So i went back to the same place to get my vaccine. I sent out my RFE package on 7th Dec 2021.
on 16th Dec. I got a call from my field office in Oakland Park that my signature was missing!! They forgot to let me sign it. So i have get send another one.
I sent another one on 21th Dec. and I was waiting waiting and waitinggggg~ check my status everyday 😒😒.
and Finally!!! Today!!!! yayyyyy🥳🥳🥳.
Can I celebrate now? Is this the end of my immigration processing journey yet!!??
What is the next step? Will I be receiving the greencard and SSN together?? I am freaking outttttt!!

EAD approved! but name misspelled on notice!
guys, pd 07-12-2022, expedited twice. second time through congressman and finally today we got the approval and case changed to card being produced. when i checked the approval notice online, my first name is spelled incorrectly. i submitted a typographical error online and talked to an agent that said it might take up to 30 days.
im trying to get them to change the error before they produce my card so I won’t have to send the ead card back and go through another long wait. any idea guys?

After almost 2 years!
Our interview was scheduled in Portland instead of Seattle but made it worth the trip with an approval. The officer didn't ask much and only accepted a few pictures and recent tax returns. Told us we were approved on the spot and to expect a card in the mail!

I-765 approved after expedite
I am a healthcare worker (drug development) and I requested an expedite on December 29th. on Jan 4th, they sent an email asking to fax supporting documents, which I did the next day. The following 13 days it was complete silence and me contacting through Emma had no results. It was a nice surprise to see this approval a couple of hours ago.
Good luck to everyone on this journey!

Finally a US citizen 🇺🇲 - Denver, CO field office
I had my naturalization interview this morning and was lucky to get a really nice officer. Reading exam: "Who elects Congress?" writing exam: "The people elect Congress." 6 questions: what group of people was brought to America to be sold as slaves? Who was Susan B. Anthony? What is the supreme law of the land? How many senators? For how many years do we elect senators? Who is the father of our nation?
Then was asked if I want to do my oath of allegiance today or at a later time. Of course I wanted it today. The officer had me stand up and raise my right hand and I had to repeat the oath after him. Got my certificate of naturalization and a little flag, a passport application, a copy of the declaration of independence and the constitution and a pamphlet about voting and was out the door within less than 30 minutes.
So glad to be finally done with USCIS. Good luck to everyone else currently in the process.
