Case Approved
Green Card delivery
Hello everyone, I've recently got approved last November and paid the immigration fee for de GC, I've got in US on December, so already a month in here and no sign of the card... Uscis doesn't have a number, and the robots doesn't give any kind of information. Can someone tell me if there's anything I can do? thank you so much ans best of luck for you all.
on the spot approval
after 9 months we were interviewed and approved on the spot .
Married November 2020
filed I-130 and I-485 in March 2021
I -130 was approved in May
moved from NJ to CT in Oct 2021 and updated my address with USCIS in November. A week later my interview was Scheduled for Jan 20, 2022 in Hartford CT. Officer interviewed just me. my husband dint even come inside the office. He asked the questions on the I-485 form and then asked me 3 questions: when did we meet? where did we get married? what’s my husband’s date of birth. He went through a few photos, and kept the copies of the documents I brought— bank statements from the first four months of opening the joint account and the most recent four months statements, so 8 in all, purchase agreement for our house as we haven’t received the deed as yet, our baby’s birth certificate, homeowners insurance policy, life insurance listing me as beneficiary, utility bills, credit card bill listing me as authorized user, basically anything with both our names on it, I even brought our Costco executive membership cards.
so just bear in mind you have to show that you have combined your assets and pictures wiith you at family gatherings like thanksgiving, birthday dinners etc play a big role. it’s not a frightening experience. Wishing everyone on here good luck!
Sending Documents to NVC
I have read this today while I'm doing the DS 260 for my son:
"If your case IS processing electronically, please scan and email your documents to: NVCElectronic@state.gov"
Which documents do we have to send them? as we didn't send my documents through an email, we just submitted them online.

Missing initial on the card
Today, I received my green card for AOS! I have two initials for my middle name. But on the green card, they only put one initial. Is this commond or should I request them to correct it for me? If this needs to be corrected, what form do I need and how much will it cost me?
case approved.
The officer just asked to my husband where and when we met and if we have kids.
Also she said if we have something that we want to share with her, we can give to her (that was in the beginning)
She was silent and checking documents from the original package. After that she checked our birth certificate, pictures, flights confirmations (we brought it too), bank account statement and phone bill (we just have that together) without asking any questions. She asked me 3 questions of the yes or no questions and finally she gave us 1 paper and told us to wait for a decision. After 30 minutes was updated New card is produced.
thanks to God and everybody
