Hi everyone! I have been waiting for over 2 years now on the I-485 decision and over 1 month ago, I have replied to the only RFE that they have sent me. I was told my interview was waived and that the next step should be the decision. I understand that timelines are very different from case to case, but I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and how would they take for a decision after RFE is received by the USCIS (considering it has been over 2 years of wait). Het guys I need your help. I got a RFE on my i-485 because the officer told me my medical is only valid for 2 years. I submitted my i485 on 4/6/2021. My medical was submitted before September 2021, I think my case has 4 years of extension so it should not be expired. According to people here, my medical should be valid still. What is correct? I am going to visit the clinic this Fri and gonna do the medical very quick and going to send it once is done. However, my medical is still valid, I would like to send them mail or email to appral. My case is current and they said only medical is left at this time. My case is under urgency so I need very quick decision. please help me if you know better than me Thanks #RFE #medical #i485

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET 2 RFEs FOR ONE I-140 PETITION (EVEN AFTER RESPONDING TO THE FIRST ONE AND NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT YET)???

So, I got an RFE for my NIW case in Early September, it was for me to submit academic credentials and post-bachelors work experience. I submitted on October 20th. No update yet on my case status. This morning, I got an update that another RFE was sent out today. I don't understand this? could this be a glitch or something really is up about the 2nd RFE? Who knows anything about this or has experienced it before? is it common to get 2 RFEs? #RFE #RFEs #NIW #140

Has anyone response to a RFE via online only? Should I send a physical copy by mail as well? The status has been changed to RFE recieved as soon as I submit them online.

while I am waiting on a response for my i485. this morning when I logged in my i765 & i131 progress tab changed from taking longer than expected to “2 months” on both. does this mean I won’t be hearing back on my i485 for the next 2 months as well? my rfe received by uscis will be 60 days on 10/29. did anyone have months listed in the progress tab and still got approved for i485? #i485 #i765 #rfe #60days #progresstab

I got bonafide marriage rfe on I-130. I scanned and uploaded all adequate documents to my online account two weeks ago. I still did not hear back anything from uscis or Dallas FO. Can anyone has same experience and how long it takes to get documents delivered response? TIA! #rfe #i130 #dallas

why are we getting an I-130 RFE over a year after submitting application and months after getting the EAD-travel combo card?

Hi all, IR1 GC Concurrent Filing Submitted Aug 2022; I485 RFE for medical received and responded Feb 2023. EAD and travel card received May 2023. Now just yesterday received RFE for I-130. Me and my USC spouse are very surprised and concerned. My progress tracker now suddenly says 9 months ETA processing time when it was showing ‘your case is taking longer than usual’ even 2 days ago!!! Does anyone have a similar experience? I received a RFE letter. They told me to submit my medical exam and my birth certificate. I already submitted all the documents for it, why are they asking me to do it again?

RFE sent on time - but showing as received after deadline

Hello everyone.. I sent my RFE response before the deadline. I have proof of delivery as well as signed from usics.. However my case status was updated a week later, to show they have just received my RFE response.. this is after the deadline. I asked "Emma" and they say their system show it was received yesterday (so after the deadline).. The person on the live chat said they don't know if I will be denied or not.. any suggestions? i sent my medical via express last Thursday. it was delivered on Friday. i only sent my copy of the rfe notice with the sealed envelope in the usps express mail envelope. i didn’t add a cover letter because i just followed the instructions on the notice as is. how long after the mail was delivered did your account get updated for rfe being received? #medical #rfe #i485 #i693
