My (primary) status updated to Approved and my wife and son 3 years old (dependent) still has status as Finger prints applied. It has been 5 days since his updated. I am waiting for my status update. Would greatly appreciate if you could share your experience on your case. Please let me know whether your wife status updated after how long and did you take any steps for that. That would be helpful. Thanks for your help in advance.

#caso activamente revisado por uscis
USCIS is actively reviewing my case. Texas Service Center, priority September 29, 2023.
On April 10, I received this notification, and my account said the estimated time to resolve my case was 5 months. Now, it says 12 months. Someone with the same situation is coming in. Is that not the case once that message comes out?
NBC timeline question.
It's been eight months since I submitted biometrics and my PD is March 23, 2023 PD and 485 submitted at July 2024. Case is still at NBC. When I contacted live agent, I didn't get the TAT and my interview has not been waived nor been scheduled. I was told that it is at the discretion of the officer whether to transfer my case to the field office and that I will be notified of a new processing time in the case of transferring the case to the field office.
1. Can I get approval directly from NBC? Or does it have to go to field office to be approved?
2. if my case, go to the office, Will the processing time start again on the new queue?
3. any idea that I'm in the normal processing timeline?
