hey everyone! I just wanted to share and also document my immigration journey since I’ve found this app!
after being married on the k1 visa in March 2025, USCIS received my petition for both I-485 and I-765 on May 1st, 2025 and sent a text confirming acceptance receipt for both petitions on May 20th, 2025, however I only received a notice for the i-485 in the mail. On May 28th, 2025, the status of the I-485 petition changed to RFE (hoping and praying it’s just the medical, my application was pretty extensive like k1). No status change for the I-765 as yet, and still awaiting initial receipt notice for I-765 and RFE for I-465 in the mail.

RECENT TRAVEL WITH ADVANCE PAROLE
Hi Everyone, so I just want to share my experience on my recent travel using advance parole. I left this month stayed in my country for 3 weeks. I came back last night May 31st. Ofcourse i was nervous of whats going to happen though i am very positive that all will be well.
As you all mentioned, same thing applied to me, I was sent to the small CBP room in JFK Airport. Theres a lot of people who are sitting there when I entered the room so I have to wait just like any others. It took me around almost an hour of waiting before my turn, and when they called me, they just stamp my passport and told me that im good to go. No questions asked. ofcourse im very happy. So please dont be scared using AP, as long as you dont have criminal record. Im very anxious before because my case was complicated ( you can check my last post for info), but everything went well . The experience of going back home after 8 years was really awesome. YOU CAN EXPERIENCE IT TOO.

travel with parole
I travel to my home country for six weeks and when I came back to the United States, I went through immigration today and all they asked was how long did you stay? What did you bring back,then welcome back home.
No secondary inspection., the whole process took me three minutes, so it’s safe to go home as far as you don’t have any criminal background all this fear that people share on this platform should be stopped . If you have a problem with immigration,that means you have a criminal background if you don’t have any criminal background you can go to your country with no problem for reentry.
How long do we have to wait 😣

has any one had any experience with filling form I-601 after having your case denied? The case has been reopened, but I’m trying to just see what others experiences and timelines looked like. Asking for a friend of mine who isnt as tech savvy.

Polio Vaccination and contraindication due to pregnancy
Hello,
I got RFE for medical and vaccination records. since it has been changed now I am required to submit polio vaccination record and I do not have it.
My blood test came negative and cannot get it due to pregnancy.
Has anyone had same issue? should I submit RFE without Polio vaccine? will I get RFE for that again? please please let me know what is your experience.

Hello everyone
My friend she’s is married to a US Citizen and has 3 children one around (19-21yrs I’m not sure) and 2 under 10 yrs old.
When she was filing her adjustment the person who was helping her told her that she can included the older one the petition that it has been approved before, so she did
They all received the work permit and SSN, yesterday she received a letter stating that the older one has to return his SSN and work permit and has 33 days to leave USA.
What can she do to solve this matter?
Is this a Deportation?

I was single when submitted i-485.
I just got married recently, and my wife is physically in US.
Can I file an additional application for my wife so we can get a green card together when the immigrant visa is available?
In this case, which table should I look into A or B?
