Case Processing
Finally got an approval today.
Although it’s a roller coaster experience due to RFE, which is slightly related to amendment documents rest went smooth. but due to timelines we had to move it to premium to fasten the decision. Those who are waiting like me don’t lose hope. Good luck. #H1B #Extension #Amendment

interview
Guys, I’d like to share how my interview experience went.
We arrived at the office on time, checked in, and in less than 10 minutes we were called. We went into the room, took the oath, and the interview started with my wife. They verified her personal information and asked the standard security questions. That was basically it for her.
Then it was my turn. They also confirmed my personal information and went through all the standard questions. After that, the officer started asking about my job. when I started, what I do, whether it’s full-time, how I found the company, and how far I travel during my workday.
Next, he asked about the schools I attended and why I changed from one to another. Then he asked when I decided to stay in the United States and apply. At one point, he asked, “If you wanted to learn English and you already speak it, why not go back to your country?”
Finally, he asked if I had an employment contract and requested my most recent tax returns.
At the end, he said that if he needed anything else, he would request it, or if he made a decision, we would receive it by email.
Overall, it was pretty smooth, even though the officer didn’t show any reaction during the interview.
👉 My advice: I highly recommend bringing a lawyer to your interview.
H1B to H4/H4EAD concurrently filed on August 12th 2025
It's been 8.5 months since my spouse employer filed work auth for me.
My H1B expired in April and I am confused because congressman office has delays too.
Case processing times show 6 months on the USCIS website, it's more than 2.5 months.
My application starts with WAC.
From interview scheduled to case is still being processed; N-400
Has anyone experienced this before? I have both I-751 and N400 interview combo scheduled for next month. This morning got the "we've taken action on your case" text, rushed to check online and only my N400 was updated/downgraded from "interview scheduled" to "case still processing".
Kindly advise if anyone has had something similar and what it means. This process creates so much anxiety with no definite answers till final decision is made.
Keep the Faith you all!
