Tier 2 officer Booked an appointment at 26 Federal Plaza #3
I called tier 1 officer and requested to speak to Tier 2 officer asking to expedite my VAWA case since my case has been pending for 3.5 years with no SSN and Work Authorization I have severe financial hardship and I am homeless for the last 3.5 years. I know a lot of ICE agents have been arresting people and detaining in 26 federal plaza #3. question is am I in danger. I don’t have criminal history, i entered via airport and did interview at the American embassy in Abu Dhabi UAE before getting K1 visa.

my case is updated “ ready to schedule interview” after fews weeks I sent i693 rfe reponse to local office. anyone experience that? i thought it is done with rfe response but they still schedule me interview.

I have a question am a pending SIJS work permit w deferred action it’s been 202 days now, out of processing times already submitted a e request waiting for a reply almost at 60 days to be able to submit another if I don’t get a reply. can anyone share similar experiences please thank you?!

Due to holidays, I was SOOOO worried about the interview or next step getting delayed. USCIS scheduled the interview after 20 days. 12/05/2025!!!! I feel so much better now…

The case is still being process, I got the update from USCIS on 11 September 2025.
1. Is there any chance of getting the next update by November 2025?
2. What are the chances of getting approval, RFP and denial?
Most people told me that the chances of getting RFP or denial are very high!!! Your opinion can help me reconsider for my future. I will try to make my carrer in my home country. thanks for support and expert opinion.
I just got approved today. Glory to God.
It has been a journey but at the end God did it for me. Thank you for the experiences shared here. It was extremely helpful. I am praying that everyone still waiting will get their approval soon.

I submitted my i-485 application on September 2021, and I was eligible to waive the fees on the application. Additionally, i-360 was approved on September 2024. Since then, there has been no progress on my i-485; it indicates that your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks. Has anyone who filed around that time experienced the same issue regarding the security check? #vawa #i-485 #vawa

Hi, I’m almost ready to submit my EB2 NIW based I-485 package to USCIS. could you please check if I do everything correctly? Also: can anyone please confirm the filing location of Washington DC residents?
here is the documents:
1. Signed I-485 form, E notification form, G-1450 form with the 1440$ filing fee. I used my visa credit card information in G-1450 form. 2 pictures.
2. Signed I-765 form, E notification form, G-1450 form with the $260 filing fee. I used my visa credit card info in G-1450 form. 2 pictures.
3. Sealed Medical Exam File
4. I added all the necessary evidence documents with I-485 and I-765 forms. here’s some mandatory documents I added: cover letter with exhibit list, Approval notice of I-140, personal statement, I-94, all I-20s, current enrollment documents, Visa page, passport pages, recent pay stabs, photo identity docs, birth certificates, educational certificates.
