RFE followed immidiately by actively being reviewed
hi folks
i received 2 emails , one after the other on june 24. first i received an email of action taken with an exclamation mark and second again action taken without an exclamation mark. when i logged into my my account and checked case history tab. it shows two events . we have sent you and RFE and then case is being actively reviewed. so i am abit confused if i have an RFE or not ? the my status says “we are actively reviewing your application and nothing is required from you”. if anyone has the same experience or any insight please do share.

hello everyone,my wife had the interview may 28 thank God interview done very good after 3 day I-130 approved and after a week I-485 also approved and jun 9 status change to card was produced but after that no update still waiting for GC mail they didn’t mail GC yet how long they take for mailing GC ??

After I got an interview date for my N400 on Feb 12th 2025 for March 20th 2025 and the appointment was cancelled 7day before my interview and is been 103 days today I haven’t been rescheduled yet.

Still Waiting for Interview, Feeling Stuck
I’m not sure if I need emotional support or advice.
I’ve been waiting 2 months for my interview appointment, but no letter yet. The visa checker says the Yerevan embassy is now working on cases that got documentarely qualified August 2023. Mine was marked as qualified in April 2025. We started this process back in November 2023, so 20 months already waiting. If the tool is right, I might have to wait 1–2 more years just for the interview, and it’s really hard to accept. #interview #NVC #Yerevan

Before we got the interview letter uscis didn’t ask for RFE currently we’re not living together because we are saving as much as we can to buy a house instead of just renting. and also I have a Pre-Approved. we have Joint account including saving, Car insurance and Life insurance, Phone Bills together, Joint Taxes. do we need to bring letters of close Family/friend even though they didn’t ask for it. Also, I’m his affidavit. we been married for 10 months and 4 year’s together.
Guyana interview 🇬🇾
Hey Guys! This post is for anyone doing consulate processing at the Georgetown embassy in Guyana. I just wanted to provide an update for those who may be wondering how long it takes to receive the interview letter and appointment at the embassy in Guyana after getting DQ status from NVC.
June 11th, 2025: NVC DQ status.
June 23rd, 2025: Received appointment email from the NVC.
August 18th, 2025: appointment at the U.S embassy in Georgetown.
It took about 11 calendar days to receive the appointment email and about 56 days from the date of receiving the email to the actual interview. I hope this gives hope and a sense of how long things take at the Guyana embassy.
