waiting on asylum decision. recents updates
is anyone went through recent updates( interviews was on August 2025 then status went on December 2025 decision pending then on April 3rd change just the date but still decision pending now status saying in process)for i589 decisions pending? and those mean? or nothing? TY
interview was completed and my case must be reviewed.
Interview was completed today for me and my wife.
The interview was smooth and only basic I-485 information was confirmed.
It lasted about 20 minutes for both of us.
Is “Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed” a generic message after interview, or does it mean something specific?
Also, do asylee-based I-485 cases require supervisor review/sign-off?
Baltimore field office.
received interview on its own no WOM or expedited request.
thanks

N-400 Approved at Interview – Status Regressed Back to ‘Being Processed’
I had my I-751 and N-400 interviews about a month ago and both were approved on the spot. My status then updated to ‘Placed in line for oath ceremony,’ but recently it regressed all the way back to ‘Case is being processed by USCIS’ without ever moving forward to ‘Oath letter mailed,’ and I have not received any RFE, NOID, or any communication from USCIS explaining why. To make things more urgent, I have international travel booked in two weeks and I am not sure whether to call USCIS to request an expedited oath ceremony, visit my local field office for an ADIT stamp, or both. Has anyone experienced this kind of status regression and know what causes it or how to resolve it quickly?

Hi everyone,
Is there anyone here who had their I-485 (VAWA) approved, received the approval notice, and then their case status changed to “case was reopened”?
It has been 7 weeks since my approval, and I still haven’t received my green card.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes after this situation, or if this is normal?
Thank you 🙏
