TRAVEL WITH EXPIRED GC + EXTENSION LETTER
Hiiiii, I have a family emergency that requires me to travel. Anyone recently travel internationally with expired GC and #I-751 extension letter? Also, for the extension letter, did you bring the REAL one that USCIS mailed to you (with watermark) or just printed one from online portal? Please share your experience if you're entering SEATTLE!! :)
I'll be applying for #N-400 as soon as I get back (under 3 years rule)
Thank you so much for your time!!

for those who already had oath, did your uscis online status change to "Naturalization Certificate was Issued "?
asking for someone who is worried as the online status remains " Oath ceremony notice was mailed" since many days after oath...
I heard in various forums that most people see that online change within hrs or max 1 day so curious to know experiences here
thanks in advance!
Approved!
I can’t believe I’m making this post! I never thought this day would come.
PD- July 13, 2021 (became current in October 2025)
I was scheduled for an interview and my case status never updated. It remained at “Case Remains Pending”.
Me and my husband went to the interview and we were interviewed separately.
First question from officer was: have you been working for your sponsor?
I told him I didn’t work for my initial sponsor, but that I had filed the supplemental J. Apparently he didn’t have my I-485 J with him, and he insisted that I had to be working for my initial sponsor. I explained to him that I was allowed to change employers, and that I had been working for my current and new sponsor for almost 3 years. He then spent a while on the computer looking for my file. He found it and filed it with my other documents.
He then started asking a few yes/no questions from the I-485. Also asked how many hours I work and salary.
At the end he said that he would approve the new supplemental J. That was the only cue I had the case was approved.
My husband’s interview took 30 min and the officer was chatting with him the whole time. He said to my husband he was going to review and that we should expect our cards in the next 2weeks.
He didn’t ask for any document!
When I got home the case status had been updated to “new card is being produced”.
Both my husband and I were approved.
One tip: be well prepared for the interview and be confident!
Good luck to everyone! Your time will come!

I-751 Divorce Waiver – Uploaded Divorce Decree (Unsolicited Evidence) – Does this mean approval soon?
Hey everyone, I wanted to get some insight from people who have gone through a similar situation. I filed my I-751 in September 2025 (joint filing), and then my divorce was finalized in December 2025. After that, I mailed my divorce decree to USCIS. Recently (April 15, 2026), USCIS updated my online account and added a document under “Applicant-Correspondence” and also shows my divorce decree under unsolicited evidence. Does this mean my case is now being case is now being actively reviewed or moving toward approval? Has anyone had a similar timeline, and how long did it take after submitting the divorce decree to get a decision?
Any insights would really help. Thanks in advance!

please guys consider sending an Email to your senators with Regards to the (protect The vulnerable Youth Act ) for them to raise their voices, we never anything can happen, they might be a change.
you can consider copying mine below and edit it as much as you want and to your respective senators
GOOD MORNING Ma’am, I am Mensah Aminu, i’m writing to you today with regards to the difficulties and hardship that an average SIJ youth is facing as at today, the trump administration has stripped off the protection of an SIJ beneficiaries from deportation to the country that they fled from because of abuse, neglect or abandonment and the ability to work although a judge stayed the decision but USCIS barely considered granting deferred action to SIJ beneficiaries which makes access to education hard for us in addition to the already existing limbo that we are in , therefore I hereby write to you to please consider raising you voice with regards to the (protect The vulnerable youth Act) which was introduced in June 2025 ,for the us the SIJ youth so that we can easily access education, employment and many opportunities that will help us forget the torture, abuse and neglect we faced from our respective countries. Thank you in advance for your hardworking
Yourselves faithfully,Aminu.
I-131 over 20 months processing
Has anyone else experienced I-131 processing times exceeding 20 months? My case is well beyond normal processing times. I submitted an inquiry but haven’t received any response. At this point, would it make sense to file a writ of mandamus, or are there other steps I should try first? #RTD
