1-131 expedite request received : suddenly fingerprint added to case?

I requested an expedited processing for my i-131 and last week it turned to : request received. Today it turned to : Date of birth updated then Biometrics were added to your case. What is happening? Any idea?

Hi, I applied Aug 2nd of this year for the k-1 fiancé visa. My fiancé is from Nigeria and I’m hoping that they don’t pass us by because of where he’s from. I am aware that there’s people who have waited longer than we have, we are trusting in the Lord, but this process has been very exhausting and this is just the start. I am not even sure what month they are working on but I have heard they are getting slower at processing cases.

i filed my EB3 I485 on Oct24,2024 and received a Request for Initial Evidence (RFIE) related to birth certificate. i am replying to RFIE this week and hoping to get my fingerprints soon.
