EAD renewal
Has anyone here renewed their EAD? How long did it take you? Cause I think I renewed mine too early. I’m still waiting for it til now.
Context:
I filed for renewal last Sept 2024 thinking that it was expiring on Oct 2024. Then I realized that my EAD expiration’s for this March 2025. Whilst I have a friend who also renewed her EAD which was expiring after a month of when she filed and she got the renewal in less than a month! Is there such a thing as filing too early? I’m feeling paranoid because of that tbh.
Is anyone else taking awhile with their EAD renewal?

What I’ve learned (Personal Experience)
First, I want to extend my gratitude to the entire community for all the support and for sharing in the joy of our approvals, as well as navigating the various challenges we face throughout this process.
BEFORE:
Looking back to when I started in March 2023, I realize I spent too much time trying to strengthen my case, which ultimately delayed my submission until November 2023. At that time, I recommended against pursuing the Priority Process (PP) since it didn’t seem necessary and advised everyone to take the time needed to build their case thoroughly.
NOW:
However, now I strongly encourage each of you to act as quickly as possible. Secure the best LAWYER you can find (especially if you're unsure, like I was) and absolutely go for the Priority Process! This isn’t just about the process itself, or a “peace of mind”; it’s about ensuring you position yourself effectively in line. If any issues arise, you’ll want to be able to resolve them FAST and get back in line.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!
ps, my profile is all over the comments you’re welcome to check. I’ll be around as always, trying the best I can to help.

Please help!
Hi! I already have an SSN on my J-1 program before but has a “Valid for Work Only with DHS Authorization” and with my maiden name on it. Now my question is now that I already have my EAD card with me (with my married name), do I have to go to the SS office to have my name and information changed to renew my Driver’s License or do I just have to wait my i-485 Green Card approval? If I wait will that be a problem when applying for a job? I have read tons of info but one and the other says differently. Please help, Thanks!
2nd initial evidence request
Does anyone have experience with a similar situation? I responded to a request for initial evidence (RFE) in the first week of February, which was related to medical. USCIS acknowledged receiving my medical documents. However, today, I received an update on Lawfully stating that a new request for initial evidence has been sent. What should I expect next?
