the RFE will take however long, even another (but unlikely) 500 days. you may just need to submit your response normally and switch to premium processing when your PD is current.

no the rfe doesn't affect your priority date, once approved your PD is the date when you filed. may I ask you why you used extraordinary abilities criteria? if you have a B.Eng+5years of experience is equivalent to an advanced degree

Actually the receipt date for my I-140 shows both categories. But I check again and definitely is for Advance Degree my petition.

In that case, I think EB3 skilled is more suitable for you than EB2-NIW. I don't have much experience with this situation, but I wish you luck!

respond to ref immediately you might get a quicker response . the earliest the better for you because your date will be current very soon if the bulletin moves next month , I also got and RFE and it took me more than a month to respond and as soon as I sent in the response I was approved in less than a month.. so try your best to respond and address the RFE accordingly

more than a year and get an RFE, thags a true nightmare. I'm afraid of that. RFE won't take your priority date.
