Directly contact field office?
I’m in a tricky spot with my pending AOS. My wife is the primary applicant, and we had raised an SR and congressman petition to have her EB2 PD be ported to our EB1 pending AOS; and based off the SR, my wife’s AOS was adjudicated a couple of weeks back. My AOS application still has the old status stating finger prints were applied and is in the same field office as my wife’s was (San Jose). Has anyone out here had any luck in trying to contact the field office directly?
Appreciate any inputs and thoughts.
EAD processing time.
Hi everybody. I just want to know more or less after biometrics how long do you wait for the EAD?
My PD was 02/07/2022 and is current
My Reciept Notice was 02/10/2023
I did my biometrics on 03/27/2023
According to my Reciept Notice my paperwork is by NBC. The reason I am asking about the EAD is, the current Visa I am on expires 06/20/2023, what are the chances I'll have my EAD before then?

combo card and I-512L
We have a pending I-485 application. We got our EAD (765) and Advance Parole (131) approved. We received a combo card for my wife which has a 2 year validity along with the endorsement “serves as I-512 advance parole.”but we also received a separate I-512L approval letter for her AP that has valid end date of 4/27/2023 (incorrectly the same as start date). That is clearly a typographical error. My 512L had the correct validity dates. Wondering if anyone else has been in similar situation. Is it ok for my wife to travel on the combo card? Or do we need to file for another i131 and get a corrected I512L. There does not seem to be a process for simply correcting the typographical error. Thanks again.
my husbands EAD got APRROVED ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
they received everything on March 24, 2023 and on the day of the biometric appointment (May 1, 2023) his EAD got aprroved we are now just waiting on the card to get here ! 🙏🏼
Also I-485 was being reviewed on the day of biometric app. but no update yet
I-130 no change just says case was received and a receipt was sent, praying this process goes bug fast for me and my husband 🥺🙏🏼

Green Card issued - USPS didn't deliver?
Two weeks ago my wife's green card was approved, and was delivered on Saturday, April 29. Unfortunately, it wasn't ACTUALLY delivered. The Post Office shows it was, but it never hit our mailbox.
Has anyone encountered this? How long to let USPS dick around without a real resolution before just biting the bullet and filing an I-90 for replacement? How long does that take?

JUST WHY WHY WHYYYYY
Why do applications that are for spouses overseas take a year or more to be approved just for the first step!!!!
While people that apply while in the states get approval faster!??!!?
The lather already live with his or her spouse!!!!!
The rest of us have to endure LDR just to keep our relationships going!!!!!
