Directly contact field office?
I’m in a tricky spot with my pending AOS. My wife is the primary applicant, and we had raised an SR and congressman petition to have her EB2 PD be ported to our EB1 pending AOS; and based off the SR, my wife’s AOS was adjudicated a couple of weeks back. My AOS application still has the old status stating finger prints were applied and is in the same field office as my wife’s was (San Jose). Has anyone out here had any luck in trying to contact the field office directly? Appreciate any inputs and thoughts.

There is absolutely no way you can contact an FO directly, you must file SR and wait for them to respond. Also if your case is outside normal processing time you can request for a tier 2 officer to call you back, however you must have supporting documentation of why the urgency to get things approved
