Finished i485 interview
applied for marriage based green card is Jan 2022 and had my i485 interview this week. I was expecting it to be straightforward as mine is a genuine marriage and I had all necessary documents (and much more!)
Was disappointed when the officer was constantly questioning our marriage ceremony asking why it was a small ceremony and why my parents couldn’t come
for it from India. He was only focused on the ceremony and didn’t bother about anything else. said we will receive a notice soon with a decision or another interview or rfe (I have no more documents to provide as I have literally provided so much evidence). after 1.5 years of no travel and wait, I am exhausted.
Anybody else had a similar experience? how long did it take to get a decision?
my uscis status is now ‘Case is being actively reviewed’. it was previously ‘interview scheduled’
do you think I’ll get a combo card if I applied for both?
spoke with live agent on Emma and my i765 goes out of processing times next week may 24. the live agent said I could file an inquiry then and call in to the service center in order for a tier 2 officer to call me back and adjudicate instantly. let me know your thoughts? #nj #mtlaurel #i131 #i765 #nbc

does anyone understand the meaning behind IOE numbers
i read online that when your IOE number starts IOE - 09 - (eg) 190, your application is made on the 190th day in the computer. my first application on nov 2nd is 181 and my second from april 3rd is 202- there are obviously more than 21 days between them so does anyone understand the breakdown?
