this is so depressing
this is extremely depressing when they put your case on the shelf… and yeah they take off on Fridays.. and on Mondays they are lazy as it’s the start of the week.. so truly our cases get reveiwed T-Thursday .. this is depressing to say the least .. I’m tired of the wait

Expedite EAD Denied
Quick Timeline
4/25 called uscis and request for EAD expedited
4/28 received email asking for supporting documents
4/30 faxed all supporting documents
.........silent from uscis........
5/18 live chat with agent asking for the status of my expedited EAD. They agent scheduled me a call with Tier2 officer.
5/19 8.30am had a call with officer. Officer said I should hear back within 3-5 days.
5/19 2pm received an email from uscis "We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. We have carefully weighed the urgency and merit of your expedite request. At this time, we are unable to take your application out of date order and grant expedited processing."
Has anyone been in similar situation? What should I do next? I'm only asking for EAD card to continue working. I'm not even asking for AP or to expedite my GC.
My EAD will be expired in couple weeks😞
We're living in Seattle and the rent alone is $3,000 a month not including any utilities. My husband and I shared rent 50/50 but without my income we won't be able to afford living and bills...
The evidence I faxed were apartment lease, all the bills, medical bills, medical insurance that my company supported me 100%.
Yes, I did contact two congress people in my area. Filled out the waiver form. Haven't heard back... :/

“We are waiting for the results of the required security checks on your case before we can continue our review”
Anyone been through same ?How long does this take? Why are they doing background check.

I was told my case originally was in Vermont months ago & did the Emma Chat recently to find out it is in Texas now (never got a notice it was transferred). It has been actively reviewing since April 6th 2022.

l-751 submitted - when do you get your extension letter
I have submitted my I-751 a month ago to phoenix lockbox and I already got two notices from TSC that my fingerprints have been reused and second notice on my online account. but I never received my extension letter? I was assuming we receive the extension letter first. did I lose mine in mail? can some one who got the extension letter post their order of notices and timeline? much appreciated. thank you.
AOS Approval
AOS from K1 Visa take about 5 months. We got RFE twice. And then they schedule my interview April 6 (the notice) and we done interview May 11, the interview really smooth and easy, got approved right away after interview and got the approval notice May 13. On May 17 the status is card was produced. GC on hand May 20.
