I’ve got exactly the same email as you and Emma also told me I have to wait 5 days before I can file again… I asked for AP for really important medical treatment and they still said no… And EAD is also something I’ll need very soon.. I’m so frustrated.. Hang tight, hopefully we all get approval soon.. I remember reading here that someone wrote they got denied for expedited EAD but then few days after they were approved.. I’m hoping for that honesty

@keep waiting when did you apply? I submitting my application in January this year… I’ve heard EAD should be issued in 3-4 months but still nothing and I see some ppl getting it in 30 days and some wait 6-7 months

@Keep Waiting I believe you can reapply - I recently went through the same thing - I filed concorently in August 2022 - I filled to expedite my AP and EAD; I reached out to the congressman while it was still pending - they reached out to the congressman, saying they pushed my case and both was approved the next day. Apply again - send in as much evidence as you can, bank statements, bills, your EAD expiration date, etc hopefully they will give you a favorable answer this time.

@C S wish us luck!! 🍀 When did you receive a denial email? Really?!!?! I haven't heard about that but yea I need EAD to survive. I applied in April this year. Yea I am also aware of that timeline but some people got approved within a month or right after their biometrics so I'm like hopeful but after tried expedited it myself I'm now so hopeless.

@C S #RANT also some live agent are pretty annoying like they ask me for all the confirmation then just randomly disconnect me and leaving messages something like "Thank you for contacting uscis. I hope you have a good day" like so rude... some are like you can check your process time via (link) and have a good day message lol Moreover, some agents told me that my case is processing and I should hear back soon. I asked how soon? he said 30 days or less... (I just can't wait that long.. my EAD will be expired by then..) Some agents didn't even know that my expedited request was denied and told me to keep waiting bc they can't do anything.... and some said I can resubmit within 5 days.. some said I can resubmit within 7 days.. I was live chatting with about 6 different today and 1 useless and rude phone call conversation

@S P thank you for your message!! and yes I literally sent them everything. My supporting documents was 46 pages long. I also created an excel sheet showing income and expenses between my husband and I. So, the congressperson successfully help your case then? I hope I hear good news from the congressperson next week. They're very slow but I will push them more. Thank you again for the encouragement!! I appreciated it. Have a good weekend :)

I’ve noticed that students and skilled workers get their EAD pretty fast, but marriage based cases take longer 🙁

@C S exactly that's what I heard too but the way uscis proceed each cases is very randomized

you can also the line directly and say info pass to get you to a tier 2 officer instead of going through Emma
