Finished i485 interview
applied for marriage based green card is Jan 2022 and had my i485 interview this week. I was expecting it to be straightforward as mine is a genuine marriage and I had all necessary documents (and much more!)
Was disappointed when the officer was constantly questioning our marriage ceremony asking why it was a small ceremony and why my parents couldn’t come
for it from India. He was only focused on the ceremony and didn’t bother about anything else. said we will receive a notice soon with a decision or another interview or rfe (I have no more documents to provide as I have literally provided so much evidence). after 1.5 years of no travel and wait, I am exhausted.
Anybody else had a similar experience? how long did it take to get a decision?
my uscis status is now ‘Case is being actively reviewed’. it was previously ‘interview scheduled’

I remember when I had my interview 6 years ago was a Nigerian background officer she was the sweetest….my husband and I was so nervous firstly because he’s 24 years older than me no kids our ceremony was at city hall me him and his cousin and we only had a joint bank account that’s it the only question she asked my husband and he fumbled was my mother’s date of birth and she chuckled and said to him she doesn’t know her in-laws birth dates either besides it’s not important😃😃out interview lasted about 20 mins and at the end she didn’t tell us we’re approved but she did say we’re not worry on my way out of the building I received a notification that my case was approved so you’ll be fine good luck!!

My interview was on Feb 28th of this year, I applied in May 2020, at interview I was being questioned about paying my wife and her family… now I keep getting random interviews scheduled and then cancelled

same happened to me but I had a stoke interview - mine lasted 1 hour and my wife about 10 minutes
