I-485 processing time after transfer to NBC
Hi all,
First of all, good luck to everyone who’s stuck in the endless green card process!
I feel almost bad for asking this question (and please don’t hate me) as my timeline is still very short. However, my company is currently having waves of layoffs and I’m anxious that I won’t make it through the final weeks/months to the green card.
I have an approved I-140 EB1-2 with current final action date. My concurrently filed I-485 was transferred to National Benefits Center right after the I-140 approval. Biometrics and EAD combo card was already finished beforehand.
Is there a good estimate how long the I-485 adjudication will take from the time of transfer?

about VAWA psychological evaluation issue
Dear family, what is your VAWA psychological evaluation conclusion like, does it say you have anxiety or depression? But isn’t that considered to be a mental disorder that actually will cause you problems for an immegration case since you are required to be physically and mentally healthy? Please give me some ideas about the truth thank you!
No EAD/AP, no transfer after 10 months. Just a few fingerprints updates. Anyone with similar timeline ?
I am not yet lucky, case still stuck @ TSC after I-140 approval on 01 Sep 2022. PD is 2016 which is current as of now.

Filled I30 when I was a LPR
Hi community, I would like to share a little bit of my process.
on May 5th, 2022 I filled out the I30 for my husband that is abroad (Ecuador) I filled as an LPR (permanent resident). My case was taken by Vermont Center and the processing time was 37 months. A long wait, but on September 2022 I applied for the N400 to become a U.S. citizen so I can expedite my case. o June 1st, 2023 I finally became a U.S. citizen. I sent my naturalization certificate to the lawyer so they can send it to USCIS, however, a week later they didn’t send it. I rather call USCIS and ask if they can change the category of my case. they did it online, I just needed to submit my certificate to the USCIS account. I submitted Friday the 9th in the afternoon and the same day at night I check the status and it said “Your case has been actively reviewed” On June the 12th my case was finally approved. A bit of advice is if you are in the same boat as me please become a U.S. citizen fast so your case will be processed faster. Now I will wait for my case to be sent to the NVC. I don’t know how long is the process after I30 is approved. if anybody knows please let me know.

‘Case Remains Pending / Temporarily Paused’…
Got a weird online status update 5 days ago, saying my “case remains pending and that they are temporarily pausing work on my application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available…”
Weird, as my PD is current (from the UK), and I got an official transfer notice a week prior to this, saying my case is at NBC for faster processing!
Any insight / anyone else got this? Thanks so much!

I-765 Expedite Request
hello, I have received this notification below from my congresswoman request to USCIS to expedite my I-765 based on job and emergency situation. do you think my expedite request has been approved and my I-765 is on the queue for final approval?
“Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. This case will be routed for expedited processing. Once this case is reviewed, your constituent will receive a decision or notice of further action. Due to the extremely high volume of expedite requests for this case type, there are numerous cases involving exigent or humanitarian issues already in the expedite queue, and we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the expedited review. The strict enforcement of the expedite criteria means that all cases sent for expeditious handling are urgent, and we assure you that this case will be adjudicated as soon as possible”.
