I-485 processing time after transfer to NBC
Hi all,
First of all, good luck to everyone who’s stuck in the endless green card process!
I feel almost bad for asking this question (and please don’t hate me) as my timeline is still very short. However, my company is currently having waves of layoffs and I’m anxious that I won’t make it through the final weeks/months to the green card.
I have an approved I-140 EB1-2 with current final action date. My concurrently filed I-485 was transferred to National Benefits Center right after the I-140 approval. Biometrics and EAD combo card was already finished beforehand.
Is there a good estimate how long the I-485 adjudication will take from the time of transfer?

Check with Emma if your case is transferred to field office. Also, if your case is waived for the interview. in a few cases, NBC directly approves the case

mine was transferred to NBC February and approved June. So, I agree with @Shan Bet

the first sign to look for is moving your case to a field office. keep asking every other week. only then you can start expecting the approval of the GC.
don’t worry at all, you will get your GC.
you have a solid profile being EB1. It is a game of time.
