Do I really need affidavit? Don’t really want to disturb friends or family about this stuff
So far this is what we have together.
*I-751 completed form
*Copies of Green card front/back
*Copies of Joint tax returns from the previous 3 years
*Copies of Joint checking and saving account statements
*Copies of Driver’s licenses showing the same address
*Copies of Marriage and Child birth certificate
*Copies of a letter received from landlord to show when we terminated the lease at old address and Mortgage Deed with new address with both names.
*Copies of joint credit cards statements
*Copies of electric/gas utilities and cell phone bills showing both names.
*Copies of life insurance with spouse as beneficiary. Joint auto, health, dental, vision and homeowners policies with both names.
*Copies of Joint brokerage investment account and 401k statements showing spouse as beneficiary.
*Copies of airlines and vacation reservations over past two years.
*Photos of us together with family and new born. Also letters from family to us when we moved into our

hey family, after long wait finally a light came through the dark tunnel.. my I-130 got approved today and I believe it’s happened after I requested a case assistance from the DHS ombudsman office.. in this post I’ll talk about my experience with them ..
I requested a case assistance through this website www.dhs.gov/case-assistance
i filled the 7001 application and I uploaded the supporting documents ( my I-130 receipt notice, I-485 receipt notice, all emails from uscis response to my service requests, all Emma chat screenshots, phone logs screenshot for uscis calls , screenshots to the online account containing the last update on my case , my consent ( you need to print only page 6 sign it and upload it ) and my husband consent only print page 6 and sign it then upload it .
same day I received the confirmation email form them .. it took them 3 weeks to review the case assistance request and then I received their email which said that they submit my inquiry to the uscis ..
next day I received the last email on Friday which contained the uscis response and they stated that my I-130 is pending with NBC and the normal processing times is 60 months so they can’t take a decision regarding that and I have to wait ..
today morning my husband was checking his online account and we saw the 2nd actively reviewed there we checked the documents tab and we found the approval notice there ..
now I’m only waiting for my I-485 and I pray to have my approval this week
I believe that the DHS ombudsman office inquiry helped to got this issue solved today.. I encourage all of you to try and hopefully you will get a good response from them
