My i140 and I765 (work permit) still pending, does anyone knows what happen to my i765 if the i140 gets rejected? would I receive it anyway? I plan to apply again if this is the unfortunate result.

why not apply for Premium processing

in our case which is eb1 a, we went for premium processing and we did not submit anything except the I 140. we applied after it was approved and only got ead in 6 months. no 131 since December 5,2022.

if I was you, I would go for premium processing for the I 140. At the same time, contact the congressman of your state (Google search on how to do it) to request their help to expedite your I765 application. Also, chat with Emma (live chat), request expedite I 765 via them. They will likely ask you for a reason, just say because of the financial issue. You need a job to cover living cost.
