SS card
Hi guys! A month ago I got my EAD card and as recommended by everyone I went to the SS office to get my SS number and they gave it to me after a week. Now my lawyer has told me they have also received my SS card as it was marked in the form to get it as well. Can someone have 2 SS cards? what do I do in this situation?

"Your Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status; Form I-485 is pending review. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition/application. We will forward this inquiry to the Officer for consideration."
In other words, they said nothing...
Asylee seeking to covert to eb3
Hi everyone. does anyone has information on how this works?
I am an asylee with pending case and I did my bachelors here and got an employment. my company started filing for my eb3 and has gotten my I-140 approved. they are about filing my 1-485 and they told me that my application will be sent to nvc of my country and I will travel there for interview on due date.
Has anyone has experience with this? can the interview be conducted here in the US where I reside?
I-140 Denied, can I refile using the I-485 pending?

I applied for an EB-2NIW (Dec 2021). I received my EAD 6 months later. On Dec 2022 I received a RFE, which was answered timely and with all the evidence USCIS was asking for. On Aug 2023 my case was denied (I-140).
Can I refile a new I-140 with more and better evidence and still use the pending I-485?
It's anyone having or had the same situation?
I have a lawyer and I would like to have others' points of view before talking with the lawyer.

rfe lost by usps
uscis sent me rfe to correct the medical form. they have requested to correct the original form or fill a new medical form but include a original form. I got the ecopy of rfe that’s how I know what the rfe is. but what should I do since I don’t have orgifinal medical form now? please advice
