Case transferred to local field office and approved without interview.
Hello folks, I am wondering if there is anyone whose case is transferred to local field office and got approved without interview? Is it 100% sure the interview will be scheduled once it got transferred to the local field office? Also, anyone whose case is in Oklahoma City field office?? Thank you🙏

Case inquiry i-140
Hello.
I hope you're doing well.
I need some advices from your experiences. I filed i-140 EB2-NIW in Feb and my case inquiry date has arrived. Should I go ahead and submit the inquiry form now? How long does it typically take to receive a response or results? Could submitting an inquiry increase the chances of an RFE or denial?
Thank you. #i-140 #caseinquiry
I-485 interview
Hello everyone, I have a situation and two questions for those who might have experienced something similar.
In November 2022, I applied from within the U.S. (adjustment of status) through my lawyer, sponsored by my green-card holder spouse. We submitted all forms, including the medical exam (I-693). In May 2023, my I-130 and I-765 (work permit) applications were approved, and I received my parole (advance parole) document. We were only waiting for the I-485 approval.
On the myProgress tab for the I-485, it showed 4 steps, and 3 of them were completed (it said 'Step 3 of 4 completed'). The description for the last step was something like 'Interview, if necessary.'
On September 12, I received a notification for an interview appointment.
So my two questions are:
1. Is this normal? I thought cases were often being waived.
2. Another lawyer mentioned that as the interview date gets closer, I might receive a message saying 'Your attendance is not required.' Has anyone encountered this situation or received such a cancellation notice?
Thank you for any insights!
