Should I wait or upgrade to PP?
This is my timeline, and I’m quite hesitant about upgrading to PP because I don’t have the funds to do so. If I were to apply for PP, I would then need to apply for I-485 for the entire family. However, I’m considering borrowing money if applying for PP is worth it, given that I’ve already been waiting for 202 days. I would greatly appreciate your insights on this matter.

it seems like that. however couple of my friends got decisions within 6 and 8 months. I am really confused and hesitant about upgrading or not since my financial resources are limited. 🥲🤷🏻♂️

@A Z but whatever lawyer tell you don't do that. When you are paying PP, you're going to get a RFE! And you can lose your process. Just wait the normal process... I'm waiting 22 months but I did my Adjust of Status on December 2025. I have to receive my Work permit this month. How many months did you wait for your work permit?

@A Z yes, I have one friend in Miami. She did the AOE on October and she already received the approved Green Card the last week whitout work permit.
