Who told you bdv is a law firm? en?

@find eb BDV has started doing the filing for their clients for a while after the fallout with Envoy Immigration. Not sure if they are technically a law firm but they definitely have in house teams of attorney/lawyer to do the filing of application.

@BDV PUBLIC ENEMY #1 bdv is an agency or middleman, not a law firm. Any company can have their immigration lawyers. But you need licenses and permits to set up a law firm in the US, which is not easy

@BDV PUBLIC ENEMY #1 1) When did BDV and Envoy fall out? 2) Why did they fall out? 3) Are current Envoy clients from BDV still entitled to Envoy’s services 4) If they are still entitled, will Envoy assist them just as much as any other client not from BDV or willthey not assist them as much since they had a falling out with BDV? 5) Is it wise for current Envoy clients from BDV to change their lawyer?

@GRU Alpha @frost bite the backstory I am not sure but I heard that Envoy lawyers told their clients they didn't need to start working before getting green card. That wouldn't work with BDV's tatics of scaring people into becoming slaves, so they probably parted ways after that a few cases of people siding with the attorney. This was since 2023 if I am not wrong. If you are a current client who has your cases pending, you're free to continue working with Envoy as you please because if they were the one filing your application, they already got paid from the money you paid BDV. If you are waiting to be file, then BDV will handle the rest from now on.

@frost bite I think if your case was filed with Envoy, continue with them, because they already have all your info. In case of Mandamus or something more specialized, then consider using another firm.
