Conflicting requirements for the medical documents
I have submitted my I-485 on October 2022 (PD Sep 22) alongside my medical documents. I have recently received an interview notice. The notice says I must bring "Completed form I-693 in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted within the last year)".
I thought I-693 remains valid for two years. Does this mean I have to retake the medical exams again?
Any thoughts or similar experiences appreciated!
Advance Parole Renewal
Hello everyone,
I got my combo card (EAD + I-512 Advance Parole) in September 2023 after waiting for six months and I'm still waiting for my Green Card. My Combo Card (EAD) is valid for two years. However, the notice I received with the combo card states under Advance Parole: “As long as your EAD card has not expired, you may use it multiple times to request parole into the United States. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can parole you into the U.S. for up to one (1) year."
My understanding is that my Advance Parole is only valid for one year regardless of the EAD card's validity. However, my lawyers are insisting that everything is valid for two years because it says so on my EAD.
Has anyone experienced this situation before? My main worry is traveling abroad after one year and not being able to return to the US.

I live in NYC. After being told i had to wait 16 months for my renewal, I took matter into my own hands, I went through congressman to expedite; A week later, i received an RFE to upload an colored image of a photo ID and some disposition papers from a recent arrest. After uploading a day later, I was approved!! If they tell you to wait an absurd amount of months, NEVER GIVE UP!! Do everything you can or they will just push your case to the side!

Does your I-485 case CRP without RFE and interview?
my case is crp since 2022 and I have never gotten rfe or interview request. I have also sent my medical report with my original filing date of 2021. my pd is 09/20 and I am not sure if they processing my case. Also they never approved my I-131 too still pending since 2021.
