I-751
Hello, I am filling out my I-751 divorce waiver and I am confused as to how to respond to question 21 and 23. I know this question might seem silly. Question 21: if you are married, is this a different marriage than the one through which you gained conditional resident status? The option is just yes or no, but the question has a conditional statement of “if you are married”. I am not married, so do I just leave the question blank? Question 23: is your spouse or parent’s spouse currently serving with or employed by the US Government and serving outside the United States? This is also a yes or a no question. Do I just leave it blank since I have no spouse? For those who have submitted and gone through this process, your candid answers would be appreciated

did you get your residency from your current spouse or did you get it from your previous marriage?

@S ghazman “if you are married” refers to being married currently. That question does not apply to you since you are divorced. If you chose “divorced” in question 10, then questions 21 and 23 does not apply to you so leave them blank

@Rocco Forté thank you for your response. May I ask if you filed a waiver too? I have been getting different answers from people
